Handbuilt 4-Rotor Engine
This was a project that took about five years of weekends to put together. There was a lot of trial and error as jury-rigged parts were improvised and revised, leaks were identified and plugged, and byzantine electrical diagrams were decoded. It still does not run smoothly, as there likely is a problem with the intake system that has prevented smooth timing at idle. But she runs!
lots of people wanted to know where the E-shaft came from: it was custom ordered from a shop in New Zealand.

Me driving my 4 rotor RX7 at Rudskogen in august 2009 at Japsetreff(Jappmeet), a national Japcar meet held each year in norway.
Engine had a redline of 8200 rpm and Dynoed 550hp at the flywheel at this rpm.

Mazda RX8 R3 - Sound of the Rotary Engine
This is just a quick demonstration of the unique rotary sound within the cockpit. This is NOT a 0-60mph / 0-100kmh demonstration so don't go all "omgz so slow" as I didn't try for that, it's solely for sound.
I'll post a 0-60 in the upcoming weeks.

This idiot in the Accord posted this on a Forum and was turned in to police by fellow forum members. Here is a brief excerpt of what he posted about the video before he was arrested:
"Racing the sti, I was winning, small turn the rear broke loose, I tried to correct it and the whole car spun out slammed into the railing bounced off flew across 4 lanes of the highway into the other guardrail. I started it up and drove it home. It looks like its just cosmetic but my steering is kinda fucked up as is my cf which flew up and smashed my windshield and the gaurdrail [sic] scraped the shit out of my BBS's. I'm gonna have to jack it up sometime this week and check the steering rack. I'm fine, my hands kinda fucked up but this is a lesson I had to learn the hard way, from now on I'm taking it to the track."
