1940 Mercury Eight Convertible Flathead V8 Classic Car
1940 Mercury Eight Convertible for sale! This is one rare Mercury - there were only 978 produced and believed to be only a small number of those left. This particular car has been in the same family since 1969 and was rumored to be formerly owned by Marilyn Monroe! It is covered in an older blue coat of paint with a red vinyl interior. It is powered by an original style flathead V8 engine, and it still has the numbers matching 3 speed manual transmission under the car. Recently it has had new brakes, a new fuel pump, a rebuilt carburetor, and new spark plug wires installed. Options include a manual convertible top with removable B-pillars for a clean top down look, vinyl interior, hub caps, and Firestone wide white wall bias ply tires. These Mercury's are extremely rare and hard to find, and they will only get harder to find as time goes on! Thanks for watching! Test Driving 1967 Corvette 427 Big-Block 3x2 Carbs 435 Horsepower
Be sure to check us out on Facebook at: https://www.facebook.com/RamblinAroundTV I thought you'd like a look at this nicely restored 1967 Chevrolet Corvette, powered by the 435 horsepower 427 Big-block Tri-Power V8 with high-compression and a solid lifter cam. All that power is funneled through a Muncie Four-speed manual trans back to a posi rear. This thing sounds mean and has the performance to back it up. The sound coming out of those side pipes is unbelievable. I hope you find it interesting...thanks for watching! Vintage Indy Car Action - Gateway Motorsports Park - Oval Track Racing USAC
I thought I'd put together a compilation of some of the awesome vintage race cars that recently came out to Gateway Motorsports Park. This was prior to the USAC Traxxas Silver Crown Gateway 100 and the vintage cars were just running some test laps. No serious racing here, they were just out there having some fun. There were some pretty amazing cars out there, including some that were formerly driven by such racing greats as Al Unser Jr and Rick Mears. It was definitely fun to get such an up close look at them. I hope you find it interesting...thanks for watching!
