After a first glance at the car you might think it's a regular Shelby GT 500. However, this one has written GT 640 on the side, has 4 tailpipes en it seems to be quite a bit louder than a regular GT 500 as well. Does anyone happen to know what model Shelby this is? Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG sound - startup & accelerations; 1080p HD
Gijs records a beautiful dark red Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG at a gas station in Nürburg, Germany. You will see it startup first and then do two accelerations. You can also see a Nissan GT-R, Porsche 997 turbo S and a Ferrari 458 Italia in this video. These cars were there for a test from the german automagazine Autobild. They were also testing a Lexus LFA, Wiesmann GT MF5 and a Lamborghini LP570-4 Superleggera! Amazing too see all of these cars together (although you will only see a small part of them in this video). But this time not only the lovely sound of the V10; this video also includes a lot of backfire! As you might know, I participated an ''Autobahn Run'' last Sunday with my VW Golf V GTI. It was a lot of fun, but on the other side; I could not film the action by myself. Viper Powertrain Development Engineer Dick Winkles takes us through a Dyno test of the V-10 powerplant under the hood of the Dodge Viper ACR-X race car. The engine generates more than 600 horsepower. The test was conducted at the Chrysler Technical Center, Auburn Hills, Michigan.

But this first video is not about a Ferrari, but about a American supercar. This Viper GTS has a 8.0L V10 engine that produces 600bhp and 950NM. The VCA was very proud to play a small role in the recent record setting effort of the SRT team at Nürburgring. The Viper ACR ran a blistering 7:22.1 around The Ring, beating the next closest rival by over four full seconds - a lifetime in racing. Congrats to SRT and the entire Viper Nation!
