The one you see here it's an ex 1996 DTM, or better ITC (International Touring Car Championship), chassis SE065-007, which is nowdays owned and driven by Fabrizio Pandolfi. The car is moved by a 690RC 2.5 litre V6 engine which is able to produce a max power of around 490bhp and reach the insane speed rotation of 12000 rpm. The car was driving around a temporary street circuit created on purpose for the 2015 IHCC (Italian Historic Cars Camaiore), an event organized by AS Camaiore Motorsport to celebrate some of the most iconic Italian race cars made by Alfa Romeo, Abarth and Lancia in the hometown of Nicola Larini (1993 DTM Champion). 2015 Alfa Romeo 4C First Drive Review: A Budget Ferrari?
( http://www.TFLcar.com ) Is there such thing as a four-cylinder Ferrari on a budget? Nathan Adlen filed this first drive review of the 2015 Alfa Romeo 4C to explorer this subject. The all-new 4C builds on top of a carbon fiber monocoque (or tub) structure, which weighs a mere 236 pounds. Aluminum subframes and Sheet Moulded Compound body panels compose the rest of the automobile. The US-spec car weighs in at around 2,400 lbs at the curb. When combined with the Racing Exhaust system, this car might just have the best sounding four cylinder in production today. The heart of the 4C is a 1750 cc all-aluminum four cylinder engine with direct injection and a clever turbo-charger which aims to eliminate lag. The result is 237 horsepower @ 6,000 rpm and 258 lb-ft of torque @ 2,200-4,250 rpm. It converts to 135 horses per liter of engine displacement, or 10 pounds of weight per horsepower. EPA rates the 4C at 24 MPG city, 34 MPG highway, and 28 MPG combined. The Launch Edition is being shipped now, and you will be able to pick it up at 86 initial North American dealerships by the end of June. Expect the fully loaded Launch Edition 4C to retail around $68,000.
