1965 Dodge Coronet Hemi AFX Funny Car Virtual Ride
Come go for a ride in this 528-Fuel-Injected-All Aluminum-Hemi-Powered altered wheelbase AFX funny car. NHRA outlawed these lethally fast machines for most of 1965, allowing them to eventually return due to large crowds they draw. This one brings more cubes and electronic fuel injection to the table. We raise hell in Dallas, Texas. Enjoy!

are known to exist today. These cars came stripped from the factory with

Very special and unique car. It has been my passion for 5+ years. I went
completely through the car to make it my own and to make sure it is 100%
and well tuned and sorted. It is turn key and ready to enjoy. ***No
Drag raced it 1 x on 1/4 mile and 2 x on 1/8 mile - just for fun but it is
super fast. Mostly take it to local cruise nights and car shows, I drive
it to work on nice days, and I took it to Carlisle several times. It won
1st place at the Carlisle Mopar weekend fun field!
Well sorted and in excellent condition, turn key and enjoy! Street legal,
registered and inspected. Pump gas. Needs nothing.
I just had engine freshened with all new bearings, rings (stock bore) had
the heads done over, brand new 3500 stall converter and 4.11 gears (more
street friendly than the 4.56's it had).
I also had a custom 3" Exhaust system
installed with cross over and tailpipes. New Mopar dual batteries.
Literally less than 10 miles on all new parts - still breaking it in.
When we tore down the engine we were shocked to find a top fuel billet
crank. We upgraded to Indy roller rockers to match the roller cam.
Super cool car it is the hit of any show.
The interior is period correct racer with vintage seats, full dash and roll
bar, but no carpet or door panels.
426 hemi start and listen to hemi idle on 1971 Charger R/T
In 1971, Mopar decided to put a manual choke on the last year of the street
hemi and this Charger R/T came with it. Sparing no expense, they used an
old vent cable, turned it upside down, and put a red choke sticker on it.
It is nestled under the dash with the airgrabber switch. This video is
just a boring one of the start up of an absolutely cold engine, its warmup,
idle and shut down. Enjoy and leave a comment. Check it out at
