2014 Infiniti Q50
Infiniti introduces the all-new Q50, its replacement for the popular G series. It'll be powered by a 3.7 liter V6 rated at 328 horsepower, and a 3.5 liter hybrid V6 rated at a combined 354 horsepower. The new Q50 Hybrid features Infiniti's Direct Response Hybrid System™ with Intelligent Dual Clutch Control. Both powertrains will be offered with rear-wheel drive or Intelligent All-Wheel Drive, and are mated to 7-speed automatic transmissions.

(CTY/HWY) 22/33 mpg Competitors: Cadillac ATS, Audi A4, Mercedes C Class, Lexus IS, Infiniti G What i have to say about the 2013 3 Series: The 3 Series has always been the benchmark in the Small Sport Luxury Sedan market, for 2012 the 3 Series got redesigned and for 2013 the Wagon model is finally availble and a coupe should be arriving soon. The 3 Series has a all new competitor on it's hand though, the Cadillac ATS. While the ATS might not seem that serious as a competitor, let me tell you it is. One notable feature that stands out on the 3 Series is the automatic start stop. The interior is very nice and well layed out with nice build quality all around and high tech features. One gripe I do have is the price, the more options you add you will jack up the price very quickly and a fully loaded one can almost cost about $55,000 which is very expensive, you can get a fully loaded Lexus IS for that kind of money and still be in the $40,000 territory. I'm Andy and this is a Tuesday edition of Autoweek TV. Here's what's making news in the car world today: Infiniti, the luxury brand of Nissan, is renaming its vehicle lineup next year. In the new scheme, all cars will wear the Q badge and all SUVs get the QX badge. The changeover starts in January at theDetroit auto show, where Infiniti is expected to show the replacement for the G35 sedan. The new name will be the Q50. Following that plan, the G coupe and convertible become the Q60, while the M sedan becomes the Q70. On the truck side, the EX becomes the QX50, the JX becomes the QX60, the FX becomes the QX70 and the QX56 is rebadged the QX80. Infiniti boss Johan De Nysschen, who moved over from Audi last summer, says the renaming will help Infiniti sell its products globally in much the same way the famed "Rocks and Trees" ad campaign helped introduce Infiniti in the US in 1989. Of course the Maxima is Nissan's top of the line sedan while the Nissan Altima slots right below the Maxima in both price and performance...or at least so we thought until we tested both cars in another fun and informative TFLcar Mashup Review. There's of course no doubt that the Maxima is the more expensive of the two Nissan sedans. It also can be had with the more powerful V6 but what about size and performance and perhaps more importantly which car is the better driver.
