2013 Infiniti FX37 AWD: Top 3 Unexpected Surprises
( http://www.TFLcar.com ) The newly updated 2013 Infiniti FX37 is tall sports car with optional big and brawny tires. OK, so technically the Infiniti FX37 is a Crossover and not a sports car but it sure rides and handles like a sports car. In fact in our recent Mashup comparison of $53K Crossovers we picked it as the sportiest vehicle of the group. But what's is it like to live with the new 2013 Infiniti FX37? We spend a week driving and getting to know most vehicles that we review and sometimes we discover some unexpected surprises. Here's a brief review that demonstrates the top three unexpected surprises of the new 2013 Infiniti FX37.

Competitors: Cadillac ATS, Audi A4, Mercedes C Class, Lexus IS, Infiniti G
What i have to say about the 2013 3 Series: The 3 Series has always been the benchmark in the Small Sport Luxury Sedan market, for 2012 the 3 Series got redesigned and for 2013 the Wagon model is finally availble and a coupe should be arriving soon. The 3 Series has a all new competitor on it's hand though, the Cadillac ATS. While the ATS might not seem that serious as a competitor, let me tell you it is. One notable feature that stands out on the 3 Series is the automatic start stop. The interior is very nice and well layed out with nice build quality all around and high tech features. One gripe I do have is the price, the more options you add you will jack up the price very quickly and a fully loaded one can almost cost about $55,000 which is very expensive, you can get a fully loaded Lexus IS for that kind of money and still be in the $40,000 territory. All in all great car from BMW, I just wish they would lower the price. Facebook Page: https://www.facebook.com/pages/Camerons-Car-Reviews/349462695066112?ref=hl
2012 Infiniti M37 S HD Video Review
http://drivencarreviews.com/ Infiniti could have copied BMW or Mercedes like so many have before, but they've clearly taken their own road with the M37 S. It delivers the stuff needed to play in this market, the only thing missing are enlightened buyers. Tom Voelk follows a BMW 7 Series in downtown traffic without touching the brake pedal to see how well Distance Control Assist works.

2014 Infiniti Q50 First Look - '13 Detroit Auto Show
Meet the all-new 2014 Infiniti Q50, the replacement for the second generation G37. As the first vehicle to bear the new nomenclature, it should rightfully take the G's spot in the highly competitive compact sport sedan segment; but the real question is: will it take the spot as the number one in the segment?

-- Infiniti brings you the letter Q.
-- BMW loads up for the Detroit auto show.
-- And Chevy provides another glimpse of the new Corvette.
I'm Andy and this is a Tuesday edition of Autoweek TV. Here's what's making news in the car world today:
Infiniti, the luxury brand of Nissan, is renaming its vehicle lineup next year. In the new scheme, all cars will wear the Q badge and all SUVs get the QX badge.
The changeover starts in January at theDetroit auto show, where Infiniti is expected to show the replacement for the G35 sedan. The new name will be the Q50.
Following that plan, the G coupe and convertible become the Q60, while the M sedan becomes the Q70. On the truck side, the EX becomes the QX50, the JX becomes the QX60, the FX becomes the QX70 and the QX56 is rebadged the QX80.
Infiniti boss Johan De Nysschen, who moved over from Audi last summer, says the renaming will help Infiniti sell its products globally in much the same way the famed "Rocks and Trees" ad campaign helped introduce Infiniti in the US in 1989.

In other Detroit auto show news, the BMW stand will be crowded in the Motor City next month. The German automaker says it is bringing three debuts to Detroit:
-- The high-performance M version of the 6-series Gran Coupe.
-- A concept version of the 4-series, which is the next generation of 3-series coupe.
-- And a lightly reworked 2014 Z4 roadster.
Changes to the Z4 include some minor interior and exterior trim changes. It goes on sale in the spring. You can track all the news for the Detroit show at autoweek.com/detroit.

Details on the BMW M6:
Of course, one of the biggest debuts in Detroit will be the redesigned 2014 Chevrolet Corvette.
Mark you calendar for Sunday, January 13 at 7 p.m. Eastern. That's when we can give you the all the details about the new Vette.
But Chevy is continuing to drop hints in the weeks leading up to the big reveal. On Monday it released a new short video that offers a glimpse of the interior.
Upgrading the Corvette's interior is high on the wish list for fans and critics of the car, so we're not surprised to see Chevy showing craftsmen carefully cutting and sewing leather for an interior we hope is finally befitting the Corvette's status.
Chevy will unlock one more teaser video, on January 10. You can watch all the videos here, and at the reveal web site, www.one13thirteen.com.

That's the news for today.

We'll see you back here tomorrow. Until then, enjoy the drive.
2013 Nissan Altima vs Maxima 0-60 MPH Mashup Review
( http://www.TFLcar.com ) The brand new 2013 Nissan Altima and the new 2013 Nissan Maxima are two family sedans cut from the same cloth. Of course the Maxima is Nissan's top of the line sedan while the Nissan Altima slots right below the Maxima in both price and performance...or at least so we thought until we tested both cars in another fun and informative TFLcar Mashup Review. There's of course no doubt that the Maxima is the more expensive of the two Nissan sedans. It also can be had with the more powerful V6 but what about size and performance and perhaps more importantly which car is the better driver. Check out this video comparison to find out which Nissan sedan is really the top dog.
