This is HotRodMercs/ Tony Barnes 1970 Cougar. It is a real street car and runs mid to low 10s. Big Block 460, but this thing weighs 3600 pounds and runs on 10 inch DOT drag tires. This was last year at Mason Dixon Dragway.

1970 Cougar 351c Dyno Run Dyno run with the
Cougar. It made 270hp at the wheels at 5400 rpm. Not too sure how
accurate that figure is as I run 104 Mph in the 1/4. Notice the policeman

Front Suspension & Chassis Upgrades - '68 Cougar / Mustang
In this video, we show some of the ways you can easily stiffen your car's
chassis and upgrade your front suspension. Using Andrew's '68 Cougar as a
guinea pig, we bolt on, and weld on, some simple parts that will make a big
difference in reducing the torsional flex that these front ends are prone
to, as well as improving the integrity of the shock towers.

My 408 Fox Mustang At Mason Dixon Dragway
This is my 1990 Mustang
with a 408 Windsor. Best time to date is a 10.29 @ 133 MPH. I bumped the
rev limiter going to 2nd gear, slowed me up a little.The Guy helping me in

Dieter's 1970 Cougar Eliminator (former NHRA Super Stock car) with a
modified Boss 351C motor, (very rare), street racing an all out 1969 Camaro drag car in 1979.
Old school street racing where it all began and the way it was back then.
NO juice in those days, and healthy small blocks were making about 425 HP.
