1972 Buick Skylark with a Hi-Compression Buick 350-4 I've had this car since October 8th 2010, I'm a senior in High School and it is my first car, my dad payed for half of it and I payed for the other half. I pay for the performance goodies that go into it and the occasional parts that break too. I love driving this old monster even though premium gas prices are outrageous but the rumble and roar of that massive V8 are well worth it. I take pride in this car and my dad and I do most of the work on it ourselves, it's somewhat of a father-son project. We've done nothing but make this car a heck of a lot better than it was when we got it. In the great words of GS Club of America, going fast with class, that's what these Buicks do. Detials: Stock HP: 175hp (for 1972 Buick 350-4 8.5:1 compression) Rear-wheel HP: 226hp @ 4326 RPM (should be a little higher with the Hyfire and Mallory coil) Rear-wheel Tourqe: 307.8 lb-ft @ 3372 RPM (should also be a little higher) Net HP: approx. 260hp Compression: 9.5:1 (not sure, but definitely higher than stock because without prem fuel I get spark knock with the correct fuel to air mixture) Rear-end gears: 2.73:1 Open Differential (plan on getting a Limited Slip one) Transmission: turbohydramatic 350 (with a shift kit for fun :D)

This is a very sharp drop top with tons of eye appeal. It is sitting on new 20 inch wheels with 275s in the rear and 255s up front. The transmission was just recently rebuilt by Aamco in June of 09 along with all new front suspension, disk brakes, radiator, control arms, bushings, top, and much more. This is a great running and driving car that handles great down the road. It has very solid original patch free floors, frame, and trunk. The interior is in great condition with its correct saddle bucket seat interior with console and horse shoe shifter. This car is in great shape inside and out with an exception of a scrape on the driver side rear quarter and some wear on the top of the back seat. This car is ready to put the top down and cruise to your next classic car event!
