The Tire-Punishing, 400HP Turbo BMW E30! - /TUNED
The BMW E30 is quickly becoming a cult classic among the DIY, autocross,
and track crowd. And though the M3 version may be climbing so quickly in
price, soon no one will be able to afford one, the 325i, as it turns out,
has some chops as a great platform for tuning. Kameron Baker's homebuilt
E30 is just about the nicest one we've seen, and if you think it looks
great, wait till you see how it drives.
Part 12: 13B Rotary Engine Rebuild - My 76 Mazda RX-5 Cosmo Restoration
Just as I promised last episode, it is finally time to build the engine!
Part 12 of my RX-5 Cosmo restoration covers the entire process of building
the 6 port 13B Mazda rotary engine. While this engine is a hybrid of GSL-SE
RX-7 and Cosmo parts, the process is the same for any rotary from a 12A to
a 13B NA, 13B turbo, 13B-REW or any
other variant of the 13B. This video shows the whole process of the engine
build, starting from measuring the rotors and covering everything else
including clearancing the side seals, assembling the rotors, complete
assembly the short block, setting the eccentric shaft end play and
installing the front cover and everything underneath it. It's probably the
most complete engine build video outside of what you can buy from the
vendors, and as such, is an hour long. After this one, I'm going back to
videos under 20 minutes. But for now, grab a beverage of your choice, sit
back, and enjoy.

Never before seen footage showing the assembly/start-up of our custom
4-rotor. It is the first 4-rotor since the 787b to use triple spark plugs
per rotor. It is also the first since the 787 to feature telescoping intake
manifold. Custom made slide throttle body system. A world first however is
the use of a center main bearing and 4-piece eccentric shaft. Quick specs-
9.7:1 rotors, lightened and race clearanced. Race main bearings, and race
rotor bearings, ceramic NRS 2mm apex seals. Custom stationary gears, Full
custom Peripheral Port in each rotor housing (defined auto), Aluminum side
housings for reduced weight. Needle roller bearing in the center housing.

1985 Mazda GLC 3-door hatchback
So here she is,
"She had me at hello" - a little curbside love! anyway....
So its a 1985 mazda GLC 3-door hatch.
4spd manual, manual windows, radio delete option, no tilt steering, no
power steering, no a/c, it does however have working windshield wipers and
rear defrost... haha
Car still has original spare, INCREDIBLY little rust... yeah, the bumpers
are bent, but no big deal...
It runs and drives incredibly well, not to mention BETTER than it should
considering its a 25 year old car.
