The engine has an Edelbrock intake manifold, an Accel coil, Taylor wires, chrome valve covers, and a new Autolite Platinum battery. After working for a while to get it running, it returned to life with no smoke and gained strength by the minute as it loosened up. You could feel the heritage returning.
