Mustang EXPLODES Tire on Dyno at 150MPH!
One of the CRAZIEST Dyno mishaps we've ever seen, and extremely scary considering how many Dyno's we've filmed standing close to the cars! This unlucky Mustang owner's tire EXPLODES at around 150MPH (uncertain of exact speed, but top of 5th) on the Dyno. We aren't certain why it was ran through the gears, but you can see the results. 2001 Camaro Z28 vs 2011 Mustang GT 5.0
My 2001 Camaro Z28 has an SLP Lid and SLP LM1 cat-back Exhaust, a 4 speed automatic with 2.73's, 67,000 miles. My friend's 2011 Mustang GT (5.0) is completely stock, a 6 speed manual, with about 20,000 miles. First race: Dig, Mustang misses 3rd gear. Second race: Dig, Mustang short shifts 3rd gear. 3rd race: 30MPH roll. 4th race: 25MPH roll. At the end of the race my friend confesses that he also left his traction control on.
