First Lamborghini Aventador LP700-4 Crash In Italy (New Pictures) | August 2011

A few weeks ago the world heard about the very first Lamborghini Aventador crash, which was wrecked by Austrian journalists at Autorevue.at. The white press car was used by Top Gear to do their road test of the Italian bull. The magazine stated:
"We are not proud of it, but we crashed the first ever Lamborghini Aventador. Austrian Bestseller-Author Thomas Glavinic, who is writing for our sportscar-issue was driving the Lamborghini Aventador. We were heading towards Adria Raceway, a racetrack in Italy. Then the crash happened. Thomas was not too fast. A truck, which changed the lines, just hit him."
The Aventador ended up in a ditch next to a rural road in the province of Padua. The Aventador suffered some serious damage to the front wheels in the crash but the carbon fiber monocoque stayed completely intact.

Before it left for Munich, I managed to get the pink Lamborghini LP670-4 SV in Paris, starting up and leaving for a late ride in the night. You can hear quite a bit of the V12 engine, although he didn't rev it much, nor did he accelerate... What can I do, I'm doomed! It seems they don't like going fast in Paris! Then the lambo comes back to the hotel, and you can see the now-famous Lamborghini doors opening up. This is a special video because it's a really nice combo with the turquoise Koenigsegg CCXR (video here: ).

Lamborghini Aventador 0-235kph acceleration and more!
This is the shot of the Lamborghini Aventador's cool TFT display as we take it on to the circuit at Vallelunga. It's just the speedo, but it gives you an idea how fast the thing acquires outrageous speed. It's a relatively short circuit and we're following the instructors in Superleggeras, so we had to lift off and not crash in to the car in front, so yes we could have gone faster, but not really! I'll have more videos up soon, flypasts, and a full edit as soon as we can get it on!
