2015 Toyota 4Runner TRD Pro Series - 2014 Chicago Auto Show
Thanks to Toyota's expansive indoor off-roading course at the 2014 Chicago Auto Show, PickupTrucks.com Editor Mark Williams got to see the 2015 Toyota 4Runner TRD Pro Series in action conquering steep inclines, fording water obstacles and crawling rock. The true test of the special-package SUV won't come until we get behind the wheel and off the road ourselves, but in the meantime, Williams was able to take note of its new FJ Cruiser-style grille, aluminum skid plating underneath, heavy-duty shocks, aggressive-tread tires and TRD Pro badging.

2013 Toyota Highlander | Edmonton Dealer Review
http://askgateway.ca/2013-toyota-highlander-reviews/ Neil Gratton is doing a walk-through of the 2013 Toyota Highlander. Toyota has been producing the Toyota Highlander SUV since 2002. It underwent a major redesign in 2008. It has been one of our fastest growing vehicles on our lot. This was all accomplished with very little marketing from Toyota. Word of mouth is what is causing this vehicle to end up in more and more driveways in Alberta. The 2013 Highland fits nicely into the Toyota line-up as a natural step up from our RAV 4. IT comes in 3 models 4 cylinder front wheel drive, the 4 wheel drive V6, and the 4 wheel drive V6 limited. Our 4 wheel drive models are definitely our best sellers here in Edmonton. The entry level 4 wheel drive V6 highlander is anything but basic it's great looking, seats 7, has plenty of great features, is great on gas, and starts at just under 36,000. What I have here is our most popular model. The 4 wheel drive V6 with the sport package. The major factors that separate this one from the entry level package are the 19" tires and alloy wheels vs. this standard 17" tires and alloy wheels. 3 zone independent climate control vs. dual zone, heated black leather seats vs. cloth, and the power moon roof. Look at the stylish appearance; the stance is aggressive, fog lamps are standard, colour keyed power adjustable heated mirrors tie in nicely with the body. The rear windows are tinted for privacy and are topped off with a body coloured spoiler. The key-less entry faub allows easy access to each of the passenger compartment and the rear cargo areas. Either through the glass hatch or the power lift gate. This vehicle is powered by a 3.5 L V6 which generates 270 horsepower and 248 ft-lbs of torque. It can tow up to 5000 lbs. and is rated at 39 miles per gallon on the highway. This vehicle is also filled with features on the inside. The standard audio system will play anything and will integrate easily with any of your personal listening devices. Controls are mounted on the steering wheel and blue tooth capability is standard so you won't be distracted in any way. A back up camera is integrated into the mirror for ease of parking and safety. Climate control also comes standard with this vehicle so all passengers can be comfortable and the driver gets an 8 way power seat. It is ideal for families as it is equipped with 7 seat belts 2 up front, 2 in the back, and 3 in the middle and it is rated as a top safety pick by the IIHS. That is just the standard model. You can step up to the limited model and get even more features like premium JBL sound, voice activated navigation, smart key with push button start and much, much more. There is also the option of the Hybrid powertrain. This offers 43 miles per gallon in the city. The Toyota Sports 800 Is The Forefather of Fun
Start with the Lexus LFA and trace your way back through Toyota’s sports car lineage, pausing along the way to admire the Supra, the MR2, the AE86, the Celica, and the 2000GT. But don’t stop there: follow the Japanese carmaker’s family tree to the very root of its sports cars and you’ll find the Sports 800, known to its legions of fans as “Yota-hachi.” Little-known in the United States due its low export numbers, the Sports 800 is a true “hero car” in Japan, where it is one of only two cars ever to be inducted into the Japanese Automotive Hall of Fame (an institution that honors the people behind cars more than the cars themselves). The car earned this honor both for its innovative design (which owes much to engineer Tetsuo Hasegawa’s aerospace background) and for its immediate success on the race track, where it went head-to-head with Honda’s high-revving S800s in the great Japanese endurance races of the day. A rare car by any measure, the left-hand drive models produced for the Okinawan market are today even harder to come by. No surprise, then, that the Sports 800 featured here is owner Scott Sylvester’s pride and joy. A fan of small cars ever since he first bought a Fiat 600 as a teen, his garage is home to everything from a Bianchina to a BMW Isetta, with a Messerschmidt thrown in for good measure. When talk turns to the Sports 800, however, Sylvester gets an extra spark in his eye. The rarity, the history, the design, the lightweight quickness…Yota-hachi’s story caught his imagination years ago and hasn’t let go.
