As part of a Gentleman Drivers Club (http://www.gentlemandriversclub.com/) event at the Nordschleife club members had passenger laps with Sabine Schmitz. On this lap Sabine loses it at high speed through the Pflanzgarten while taking a slick line (she was on road tyres). We chased the Cayman all through the second lap but he would not let us pass - ended with a 7:46 BTG, but no video as Harry's Lap Timer will not let you film two consecutive laps :-(

The new BMW M5 F10! But not a normal one, no! This is the F10 M5 which takes you for a ride on the Nürburgring to make you have an awesome experience. Yes, it's the famous Ring Taxi! But not just one, no! I've recorded two of these beautiful power-limousines! The little brother of its V10 powered E60 M5 Ring Taxi! The drivers from the ///M Test Centre seem to like the cars! Too bad they changed the V10 to a V8 Biturbo, altough these things sound awesome! What do you think about the new Ring Taxi?

Her first time in a Porsche 911 GT3!
Inspired by the Porsche 997.2 GT3 introduction video, I wanted to try and create something similar using my GT3. The person in the video is a great friend; she's such a great sport.
This was her first time as a passenger in my car on the track. I think the video says more than anything I can write here. Hope you enjoy it :)

Neben Klaus Abbelen und Sabine Schmitz drehte Kentenich erneut am Lenkrad des Früh-Frikadelli Porsche 997 GT3 R. Schlussendlich beendete das schnelle Trio den 42. Top Gear Behind the Scenes - Sabine Schmitz's Nürburgring Transit Van Challenge
Richard Hammond, Sabine Schmitz, Chris Harris (and Johnny Knoxville? lol) behind the scenes look at the filming from the Ford Transit Nürburgring Van episode (Series 6, Episode 7) showing the equipment, crew, and stars on and off the camera. I was fortunate enough to be lapping that day and was able to watch the filming and get a few words in with Richard and the crew.

Nürburgring legend Sabine takes us for a spin around the Nordschleife in a Cayenne turbo. It was all part of Dunlop's SUV lap record attempt at the Green Hell. And it made us feel a bit queasy.

Pagani - Pirelli Tyre - Assuring new technologies and materials are fit for production means also putting the vehicle's components under severe stresses, exceeding those normally encountered in every day road driving.
The Nürburgring Nordschleife is the most demanding track in the world, for man and machine, an ordeal that each Pagani has to pass, only one of many in the entire development phase.
The Zonda R serves as the ultimate test bench, a car able to reach acceleration figures and speeds that are not possible with a road car.
This is further underlined by a laptime of 6:47,5 min for the 20,832 km Nordschleife. Driver: Marc Basseng

The Ferrari 599XX is the first ever production-derived sports car to break the 7-minute barrier on the classic 20.832 km Nordschleife circuit, lapping in 6 min 58.16 sec. Watch a be amazed.
