Cobalt 2.4 - zzp exhaust manifold downpipe - jet ecu module
Cobalt SS 2.4 manual... 1st run with AEM intake, zzp mid-length Exhaust manifold and catted downpipe combo. 2nd
run added jet performance ecu module. And before anyone says anything I
know cobalts suck a$$, True it is an economy car, A 4 cylinder indeed--good
job on pointing that out, and go buy a v8 Camaro cuz there super fast!!!
and yes that does mean it has twice as many cylinders as my car... lol

Also something to note around Mighty Car Mods: we are normal guys and are
not trained mechanics. We like to make interesting car mods and show you
how we've gone about it, but we can't promise that anything we show you
will work for your particular car, or that you won't harm yourself, someone
else, your car or your warranty doing it. Please be safe, be responsible
and unless you know what you're doing, do not fool around with very serious
machinery just because you've seen us make it look so easy. Talk to a
qualified mechanic if you are in any doubt.
My (OLD) 2006 Cobalt SS 2.4L at PRP May 2009
Me racing my 2006 Cobalt SS 2.4L automatic at Pittsburgh Raceway Park (aka
PRP) against a Dodge Ram turbo Diesel.

Turbo 2006 Cobalt SS
This is just a quick look at my 06 Chevy Cobalt SS. It's got a complete
custom turbo kit developed myself and
Fred Simmons Jr. @ SMG Motoring. This Kit includes a custom turbo manifold, log style. A t3/t4 50trim ITS turbo. Custom turbo catless side exit Exhaust. Tuned by SMG with HP tuners. The
original turbonetics t3 super 60 made
280/280 @ around 20 PSI. This turbo
wasn't Dynoed but it
made similar power at around 16 PSI. So, I would estimate around 320 WHP
with around 20 PSI.
Right now the car is getting a new intake manifold and Intercooler because the stock unit
(that combines an intake manifold and water to air Intercooler) seems to be a bottle neck.
Tell me what you think.
