car both aesthetically and in terms of brute performance!

particularly rare, not only due to the fact that it is a 427 Tri-Power car,

Chevrolet Corvette ZR1 vs. Nissan GT-R:
Corvette ZO6 vs. Shelby GT500KR:
As much as the 2010 Chevrolet Corvette Grand Sport seems like an
interesting idea, we question Chevrolet's decision to put the sanctified
"Grand Sport" name on this car to begin with. The original 1963-vintage
Corvette Grand Sports were thoroughbred racecars, the most recent of which
failed to sell on the auction block when its reserve was not met with a bid
of $4.9 million. Even when the Grand Sport label was applied to a
production Corvette in 1996, only 1,000 examples with specific VINs were

2013 Chevrolet Corvette Grand Sport Test Drive & Sports Car Video Review
http://www.autobytel.com/chevrolet/corvette/2013/ The 2013 Chevrolet
Corvette is the last available car from the C6 model run. Chevrolet has
already debuted the new C7 Corvette Stingray and those bow-tie lovers out
there are already excited. So what does the last C6 model year have to
offer? Well the Grand Sport trim is set above the base model but below the
high performance Z06. With the Grand Sport you get more luxury amenities
combined with some performance parts from the Z06. The base price on the
2013 Chevy Grand Sport Coupe model is $56,000 with the Convertible model
starting at $59,600.
For over 60 years the Chevrolet Corvette has been the iconic American
sports car. This is the end of the 6th generation Corvette and usually when
you get to the end of a vehicle run there are some special editions that
debut; and that is what we have here. This is the Corvette Grand Sport and
it sits nicely between the base model and the Z06. The Grand Sport may not
have the big 7.0 liter V-8 engine the Z06 has but that means the price is
also more affordable and the fuel economy is much better at 16 MPG in the
city and 26 MPG on the highway.
According to James Bell of General Motors: "This vehicle represents the
send-off for the C6 generation because the all new C7 generation will be on
the market pretty soon. What you have here with the Grand Sport is the base
model 6.2 liter V-8 engine capable of 430 horsepower and sub 4-second
0-60 MPH runs done up with some cool parts. This car has the graphics
package on the side, the gills on the fenders, the rear brake vents, and
the Magnetic Ride Suspension which allows this car to corner at over 1.0g."
The 2013 Chevrolet Corvette Grand Sport is essentially a base model C6 with
a lot of Z06 performance, appearance, and handling enhancing parts. Overall
the Grand Sport is a great effort but we are all eagerly awaiting the new
C7 Corvette Stingray.

2010 Corvette ZR1 launch control 0-120mph
My new 2010 Corvette getting broken in right with 500 miles testing out
launch control. I had to control a little bit of side to side movement
through 1st gear, but the launch control did a great job of managing
traction. I did lift on the 1-2 shift out of habit, but I did the no lift
shifting on the 2-3 shift. Quite a ride.
