1963 428 Pontiac Catalina
Ron bought this car 25 years ago from a guy who brought it up from Arizona, He took out the 389 and the transmission and built up a 428 with long branch Exhaust manifolds, put in a tranny hump from a 71 GTO I wrecked out and put in a newly rebuilt turbo 400 . He was still putting it back together and he ran into health problems and passed on. He never did get to drive her sadly. So a bunch of us old friends put it back together as he had the fenders etc still off. And then the engine was taken out and gone over as the rebuild has sat for so long. Put in a Viton rear main seal. It has a hot start problem but new small starter so I am thinking its the old front end wire harness. It never had a good fan on it so I put on one of my spare GTO ones with the spacer and it keeps it pretty cool. There are only maybe 400 miles on this rebuild..
