Francisco Rivera may have the fastest 2011 Mustang GT in Puerto Rico. This Race Red California Special is running 11psi of Paxton NOVI Boost, making massive horsepower, and Francisco is loving every second of it! Featured here in a segment from local Puerto Rico automotive enthusiast program Mech Tech Racing, host Osvaldo Griger puts the Pony through its paces and cannot remove the smile from his face. The Paxton NOVI 2200 Supercharging System and 3.33″ Supercharger Pulley were installed along with 60lb. fuel injectors and a Kenne Bell Boost-A-Pump by Carlos Nieves and Mario Fernandez @ 2 Fast Performance Group, and tuned by Carlos Nieves on their Mustang Dynamometer. Known locally as "The Heartbreaker", the load-bearing nature of 2 Fast's Mustang Dyno generally reads 10-12% lower than the other local Dynojet-style accelerometer Dynos on the island. However, Francisco's newly Boosted Cali Special brutalized the Heartbreaker to an amazing 604rwhp and 514rwtq at 11.7psi (SAE), making his GT only the 2nd sub-$100K car to break the 600whp mark there.

2012 5.0 Mustang with Paxton supercharger and upgrade.
Probably the first 2012 in the world to have a Paxton Supercharger kit fitted to it, as when the work was carried out by Surrey Mustang (December 2011) Paxton had not produced a kit or a tune for a car this new. It uses a 2010 kit with upgrade package, suitably modified and relying on a Jon Lund custom tune. Power? Estimated at 600+. Feels? Scary!
