'11 Mustang GT, Vortech vs. Edelbrock Supercharger comparision,
A customer of ours decided to go with an Edelbrock Supercharger kit for his 2011 Mustang GT. After having us install
the kit, he was not happy with the performance. We thought he may enjoy the
Vortech Superchargers kit instead, so we
gave him a ride in our Vortech equipped shop car and he was sold. Before we
pulled off the Edelbrock to install the Vortech Supercharger, we Dyno'd the car on our Dynojet. We were really
interested to see what kind of power difference the car would make when
cool vs. after being heatsoaked. Since we had to put the stock manifold on
for the Vortech anyways, we also made a run in the stock configuration,
both cool as well as heatsoaked. Finally we installed the Vortech and
performed the same tests. Watch the video to see the final numbers were.
TPS Motorsports: Whipple Supercharged 2014 Mustang GT 5.0L
This is a completely stock 2014 Mustang GT.
We have installed the Ford Racing/Whipple Supercharger kit along with a set of Flowmaster
Outlaw mufflers.......other than this, the car is completely stock.
The tune used in this car is direct from Ford Racing which will allow the
customer to purchase the drivetrain warranty. It is conservative.

2015 Ford Mustang EcoBoost: SVO Reborn? - Ignition Ep. 117
On this episode of Ignition, presented by Universal Technical Institute,
Carlos Lago drives the first turbo,
four-cylinder Mustang in
three decades: the EcoBoost.
Featuring 310 hp and 320 lb-ft of torque, this Mustang should easily outpace the V-6
and, with half the cylinders, it also boasts less weight over the front end
than the GT. Add in a performance package and – finally – independent
rear suspension, and this Mustang should prove a lot of fun.
Through Motor Trend’s instrumented testing, a visit to Universal
