This is what we call the Sleeper Mustang! It is a 2013 Mustang GT with a 5.0L V8. We have supercharged this Mustang with a 2.3L TVS Supercharger from Roush Performance. It features an estimated 580 horsepower and full factory warranty! The engine was built by our Senior Master Technician Alan Halbert. He has over 20 years of experience in building custom Mustangs! '11 Mustang GT, Vortech vs. Edelbrock Supercharger comparision,
A customer of ours decided to go with an Edelbrock Supercharger kit for his 2011 Mustang GT. After having us install the kit, he was not happy with the performance. We thought he may enjoy the Vortech Superchargers kit instead, so we gave him a ride in our Vortech equipped shop car and he was sold. Before we pulled off the Edelbrock to install the Vortech Supercharger, we Dyno'd the car on our Dynojet. We were really interested to see what kind of power difference the car would make when cool vs. after being heatsoaked. Since we had to put the stock manifold on for the Vortech anyways, we also made a run in the stock configuration, both cool as well as heatsoaked. Finally we installed the Vortech and performed the same tests. Watch the video to see the final numbers were.

Probably the first 2012 in the world to have a Paxton Supercharger kit fitted to it, as when the work was carried out by Surrey Mustang (December 2011) Paxton had not produced a kit or a tune for a car this new.
It uses a 2010 kit with upgrade package, suitably modified and relying on a Jon Lund custom tune.
