Viper ACR-X racing with David McNiel's full race prep ACR
A day at the track with David McNiel of EMS Racing and the new Dodge Viper ACR-X.... This was taken at MotorSports Ranch Cresson TX February 2010. Dodge brought out the ACR-X for testing and display at the Viper Day's event... I had an opportunity to run with the car in one of the sessions.
2010 GRM UTCC at VIR - 2:06.312
This was my best laptime time for the Grassroots Motorsports Pirelli Ultimate Track Car Challenge at VIR. This clip was from my second timed session, and I placed 8th in class out of 27, 18th overall out of 59.
Big thanks to IAG Performance for all the prep work, TurnInConcepts for lots of suspension goodies, Grimmspeed for all their fabulous port/polish and ceramic coating work, StopTech for the fantastic calipers, and wheeldude.com for the Rotas.

Viper ACR X at Monticello Motor Club
Dodge was nice enough to bring a Viper ACR-X to Monticello Motor Club for us to try. I only had two laps, but it was fun. It would be great to spend some time getting to know this car, as it has some serious potential. Kuno Wittmer took me for a ride-along to show what it can really do. Yikes!
New Jersey Motorsports Park ACR Lap Record Break
New Jersey Motorsports Park is the latest road course to have its previous record obliterated. Lapping the road course in 1:28.084, Kuno Wittmer eclipses the previous time by an awe-inspiring 12 seconds.
Acura NSX vs Dodge Viper ACR on Race Track
This Acura NSX vs Dodge Viper video was captured at the Hallett Race Track in Oklahoma. The NSX powered through the track and passed a few of the slower cars and Green Dodge Viper GTS didn't overtake it in the race. This Acura NSX was obviously highly modified to be race ready. I would probably rather own the Dodge Viper as opposed to the NSX, although no doubt both are amazingly fast cars and equally entertaining to watch at the race track.
2010 Pirelli UTCC in RS Barn's Firehawk Porsche 968 at VIR July 23
Official Time Attack (Time Trial) Session 1 of 3 at the 2010 Pirelli Ultimate Track Car Challenge at Virginia International Raceway (VIR) on July 23, 2010. Yours truly at the controls in RS Barn's (Pete Fitzpatrick's) ex Firehawk Series Porsche 968. First official session with ambient temperatures starting to creep in the 102-103 degrees. Struggling a bit with a rusty driver (not many laps in VIR), softer than ideal suspension, and a powerful but cranky custom chip that was hurting exit speeds. Scott Good is driving the Great Lakes NASA GTS2 Championship Winning Porsche 944S2 in front most of the video. Different class but we ran similar times throughout the day. He was able to snap a podium finish in Independent JV. For the top spot in Shop JV, we dueled a previous winner, and Carbotech sponsored, Acura Integra Type R all day masterfully driven by John Whitaker. Session 1 was not our winner... but against the grain... we got faster as it got hotter...! :-)
