World's Greatest Drag Race 2!
It's back! The World's Greatest Drag Race returns with nine of the world's best supercars, sports cars, and muscle cars for 2012 facing off in an epic quarter-mile sprint for glory... and ultimate bragging rights! This year's field includes all nine contenders from Motor Trend's 2012 Best Driver's Car competition. We have the Lamborghini Aventador, Nissan GT-R Black Edition, Ford Shelby GT500, McLaren MP4-12C, Jaguar XKR-S, Porsche 911 Carrera S, Subaru BRZ, Mercedes-Benz C63 AMG Black Series and Chevrolet Camaro ZL1 -- all gathered together on an abandoned airstrip at El Toro Marine Base to find out which car is the fastest. Obviously these nine competitors display a wide range of power and performance, not to mention price tags. So why are we lining them all up again for one gigantic, over-the-top drag race? It's simple... Because We Can!

My stock 2LT RS Cruze vs my buddies girlfriend's somewhat stock G5. Cruze had 4 adults in the car. G5 had two adults. Like I said Cruze is stock and G5 has a magnaflow catback and gutted air box.

2011 Chevrolet Cruze Z-Spec - SEMA
Cruze Z-Spec -- Wearing concept Z-Spec ground effects, 18-inch custom wheels, an accessory spoiler and a high-flow grille, the Cruze Z-Spec has the looks and feel of a taut touring car. The exterior appearance of this Cruze is enhanced with a new stripe package that will be available soon, while on the inside are special seat inserts, a racing-style pedal kit, accessory shift knob and interior trim, as well as a new steering wheel.

We had the chance to head out to Los Angeles to drive the new 2012 Ford Focus in this hills and canyons of Malibu and the surrounding area. Ford is looking to completely take over the c-segment section of the market from Honda, Toyota and others. Chevy and Hyundai have new competitors in this market as well with the new Cruze and the Elantra which should keep everyone on their toes.
Have a look at our first impressions of the Focus and some pictures as well. Provided the Snowmageden coming later in the week doesn't postpone it, we should be getting a chance to drive the Elantra later in this week as well, should make for a nice back to back comparison.
Cruze Magnaflow Dual Exhaust
Cruze 1.8L has the Magnaflow Cat-Back Dual Exhaust System hooked up. Trying to capture some of the nice deep rumble sound, but camera didn't pick it up well. Will get other videos and sound for Exhaust System again.
