This is the 2011 specification Ford RS200 to be driven by Mark Rennison built to do pikes peak by Peter Bennett and the boys at MDV. The engine has been built specifically to accelerate out of the slow speed corners of pikes peak by Geoff Page Racing. The engine is a 2.4L BDTE.Brake's are the latest from alcon,Suspension is Black Art Designs Ltd 3 way adjustable remote canister units. The turbo has been built by Garrett in USA and runs a specific altitude compressor. The engine management system has been built specially by Life racing systems. The pistons within this engine were made by J-E also in the USA. A new state of the art crank shaft has been produced for the massive torque generated from this engine and both crank and rods are designed by GPR. Ride on the bumper of a screaming 910hp, Twin-turbo, All-wheel Drive, 150 mph Suzuki SX4 as it races up one of the world's most dangerous hills. An attempt by the "Monster" to break his own record of 10:01:41... COLORADO SPRINGS, CO (June 29, 2010) -- For the fifth consecutive time, Nobuhiro "Monster" Tajima combined experience, skill and Falken Tires to claim overall victory in the 88th running of the Pikes Peak International Hill Climb. Although he did not set a new Pikes Peak record, one day before his 60th birthday, Tajima continues to hold the current overall record for reaching the peak, beating hill climb veterans Paul Dallenbach and Rhys Millen in the Unlimited Class. He drove his new 910-hp Monster Sport Suzuki SX4 Hill Climb Special on Falken WildPeak A/T tires, the powerful new line of all-terrain, all-season tires Falken launched this past April. Following Exhaustive tests in a Japanese wind tunnel facility, Monster's 2010 Pikes Peak race car underwent extensive aerodynamic changes to better adapt to the modified road surface on the race to the clouds, which assumed a smoother tarmac and less gravel than last year. Thinning air ascending the mountain robs most motors of their power by 30 or more percent, but the increase in horsepower over last year's race car helped push the driver forward.





Rhys Millen's 750 HP V6 is bred to break Pike's Peak
Rhys Millen will attempt to beat the current "Unlimited Class" World Record of 10:01.408 & the 10-minute barrier at the Pikes Peak Hill Climb. Last June, Rhys took a Hyundai Genesis coupe to a class record in the two-wheel drive Time Attack class with a 12:09.397. This year, Millen wants to take the overall record back from Nobuhiro "Monster" Tajima, whose held the record since 2007, and bested Rod Millen's thirteen year old course record. Millen is aiming to get the first ever sub-10 minute time at Pikes Peak and he and his team have built a new car dubbed the Genesis PM580, a 1,850 pound, 750 horse power V6 beast is designed specifically to conquer the 156 turns to the top and return the world record to the Millen name.
