Hondata has developed a race calibration for the US Civic 06 through 09 Si, European Civic and Japanese Civic Type R which changes the primary sensor for fueling from the MAF to MAP sensor. The new Honda Civic Type R turbo car's 2.0-litre turbocharged VTEC will develop between 276 and 300bhp according to Honda, which is delivered to the front wheels via a limited-slip differential and an old-school manual gearbox.
