The Galaxie is rather special to me, however. This is a fourth-generation car. My great-grandparents bought it new. Then my mom drove it to college until she got a pickup. Following that, my grandparents drove it until reverse went out in 1978. It sat behind a shed and deteriorated until I began restoring it around 1999.

1961 Ford Galaxie Sedan Andy Griffith Tribute Full In Depth Tour
This Galaxie was an Andy Griffith Tribute car years ago, it does not fun but I was able to check it all out, it's not every day you get to see one of these cars. It was in rough shape and looked like it had been sitting for many many years. Other than the obvious cosmetic issues, the car looked to be in fantastic shape! The floors, frame, and trunk are all rust hole and patch free solid original metal. The interior is original and in very nice shape throughout with an exception of a tear in the drivers seat.
