fresh 454 + 0.30 warm up, break in cam, at time of video motor had about 20 mins runtime . about 12 to 1 cr . race gas, alc , or e-85. i like to run them , break in cam , and check out before installation . thanks for watching

i just finished this and wanted to hear it run . its 434 cid big block chevy 12.5 to 1 cr, solid roller 284durr 690 lift , 990 large port heads 219/188 valves with a nice port job . this motor was built as a back up motor for a dragster project , and never used . i may try to squeze it in my s10 for next season , if so i will post video of build . thanks for watching . audio sounds way better in person !

This is a short walk around of my project 1977 Chevy C10 SWB pickup. It is equipped with a very strong running 454 engine. It needs the Exhaust installed as it is currently only has open headers and the collectors are spinning when its running (you can hear it in the video) .
1970 Chevelle w/ Open Headers
Chevelle w/ a 454 BBC, open Headers, on stone cold start up. It starts to idle normal about the 2:00 mark. No choke as its a race carb.
