I was on the VIP list to receive the first 2013 R-Spec Genesis Coupe in Jersey.
This is just a quick overview of when I went to pick it up.
I had them install an aftermarket sunroof into it because the R-Spec does not come with one and I wanted one for the summer weather.
Traded my 2011 R-Spec for it
The video breaks up at the end, but the other genesis you see being parked was my 2011 genesis.
2001 Chrysler Sebring to 2013 Hyundai Genesis Coupe 2.0T R-Spec
I thought since I did one when I upgraded my bike that id do the same for
This is just a quick video of my old 2001 Sebring LXI and my newest
purchase of a 2013 Genesis Coupe 2.0T R-Spec.
The Genesis has:
- Hyundai Canada performance Exhaust
installed (dont ask me if its cat back/axle back or anything.. I could care
less what it is. It looks great and sounds even better)
- GrimmSpeed License Plate Relocation kit
- **Full custom Red Katzkin Perforated Leather Interior**

2013 Hyundai Genesis Coupe Test Drive & Car Review
http://www.autobytel.com/hyundai/genesis-coupe/2013/ The 2013 Hyundai
Genesis Coupe is back with a newly redesigned look and upgraded engine
choices. The Genesis Coupe has always been lumped into the muscle car
category with its front engine, rear-wheel drive platform. But the muscle
cars have always held a distinct power advantage until now.
The base engine for the 2013 Hyundai Genesis Coupe is a turbocharged 2.0 liter 4-cylinder. Power is up 30%
from 210 horsepower up to 274 horsepower. An upgraded
dual-scroll turbo, larger Intercooler, and Dual Continuously
Variable Valve Timing help achieve these better power figures. Fuel economy
for the 2.0 liter engine is 21 MPG in the city and 30 MPG on the highway.
The other engine choice is a direct-injected 3.8 liter V-6 which produces
Fuel economy for this engine is expected to be 18 MPG in the city and 28
MPG in the highway. There are two transmission choices available in the
2013 Hyundai Genesis Coupe: an 8-Speed automatic or a 6-speed manual.
On the outside the 2013 Hyundai Genesis Coupe retains the same overall
shape but the styling has been changed to reflect the rest of the Hyundai
line-up. Up front the Genesis receives a more aggressive look thanks to an
upgraded hood with two scoops, new front fascia, and larger bumper opening.
Out back the Exhaust gasses exit out
dual asymmetrical chrome pipes. The lights have been upgraded to include
LED daytime running lamps which can be found on high end luxury cars. The
R-Spec and Track editions will receive huge 19-inch alloy wheels.
On the inside the 2013 Hyundai Genesis Coupe features an available 360-watt
Infinity sound system. There are steering wheel controls for the audio
system and the usual iPod, USB, and auxiliary ports. A navigation system
can be purchased as an option that includes a 7-inch touch screen monitor.
The rear seats have been designed with comfort in mind. Instead of stuffing
3 seats in the rear; Hyundai has decided to go with only two. This means
there is a ton of room for the rear occupants.
When the Hyundai Genesis Coupe arrived on the scene a few years ago it was
certainly a respectable car. In fact it was this car and the sedan version
that really gave Hyundai a Boost in
the automotive world. Now with the 2013 model there is more power! The base
model 2.0 liter Hyundai Genesis Coupe starts at $24,250 and the top of the
line 3.8 liter with the track package will retail for about $33,000.

2013 Hyundai Genesis Coupe 2.0T
The 2013 Hyundai Genesis Coupe gets some significant powertrain upgrades on
its four- and six-cylinder engines, but it's on the four-cylinder that the
mechanical changes make the most difference, according to Cars.com Editor
Joe Bruzek. The added power -- along with the suspension improvements --
make the 2013 Hyundai Genesis Coupe 2.0T a compelling option against the
likes of the new Scion FR-S and Subaru BR-Z, Bruzek says.

2013 Hyundai Genesis Coupe Review
With the video camera strapped to another Genesis Coupe just inches off my
front bumper, I drop into second and hammer on the throttle mid corner to
create a heroic moment.
What happened next could politely be described as the result of an
overzealous action on my part. A less polite description might simply say I
was being stupid.

AGGRESSIVE DESIGN CUES MATCH ENHANCED DYNAMIC PERFORMANCE
The refreshed Genesis Coupe strikes a more menacing demeanor, with an
aggressively redesigned front fascia, grille, headlights, LED daytime
running lights, fog lights and hood with heat extractor cues. The side view
reveals new, aggressive 18- and 19-inch alloy wheel designs with deeper
dimensional sculpting. Finally, the rear taillights provide a visual spark
via premium LED illumination and new contours. Of course, the traditional
rear-drive sport coupe proportions remain, with a long wheelbase and short
front and rear overhangs producing a classic wedge-like profile. Genesis
Coupe's bodyside character line is an innovative "Z"-shaped design that
integrates seamlessly with a unique, drop-beltline rear window graphic.
Genesis Coupe's arching roofline and tapering greenhouse highlight the
exterior profile and emphasize the car's broad shoulders and wide stance.
To complete the aggressive sports car look, the depth between the fenders
and the greenhouse has been maximized.
Enlarged openings in the front fascia allow for better engine breathing
along with a more aggressive look. Dual asymmetrical Exhaust tips integrated with the blackout rear
diffuser treatment complete the performance message from the rear.
