Boat with 2 Saab's turbocharged engines
Boat: Vator 22 ft. with two turbocharged
SAAB B234 engines.
It's my cousin's boat and he has made most of effort on this job.
My cousin has followed my standing mile races with my Saabs for years now.
Late 2010 he said that he will get rid of his old Mercruisers and put a
Saab's engines instead, if I help to tune those for a boat use.
So here we are :)
These are an early tests and we are looking forward for summer 2013 ;-)

Extreme turbo Saab + 300 kmh
Many viewers have misunderstood this video, so I explain it a little:
-Speed at finish line (1mile/1609m) is measured. Time is not measured.
-First Saab does 1st and 2nd gear with ~half throttle. Second Saab has
limited Boost for 1st and 2nd gear.
- three extra seconds between 0-100kmh typically means ~30meters wasted.
But three extra seconds used in speeds close to 300kmh, means almost

lot faster between 0-150kmh, but
these Saabs are faster from
150kmh-300kmh. You get the point when you compare speeds at finish line.
-A Saab 9-5 driver pushes a little too much throttle @3rd gear and looses
traction. He lifts a throttle and pushes it back, but too much again and
then he gears up 4th, a bit earlier than planned. (optimal is@205kmh).
Earlier that summer I broke one gearbox when pushing too hard on 3rd gear.
With new gearbox and at later event, I drove very gently on first three
gears to avoid breaking it again. I pushed WOT for the first time on 4th
gear @ 190kmh. You can hear it clearly on following video. Engine tone
changes totally around 200kmh. Incar video is from 299kmh pull (at 1 mile
race) Something happened to camera during the run. So I didn't get any
incar video from a 305kmh pull. To see that run from the start line, please

Finally ran a 10 last night, been trying for a couple of years now and we
finally got the car running right and put down two 10 second runs and
became the first ever 10 second Saab in the USA, car had a little more in
it too and we did this a mile high at Bandimere Drag Strip outside Denver
Colorado. Best run was 10.615 at 139.54mph. This was Street Wars, grudge
match racing, real street light and no tree. No times on the boards, but we
still got our time slips...

2011 Saab 9-5 Aero Turbo6 XWD Start Up, Engine, and In Depth Tour
In this video I give a full in depth tour of the 2011 Saab 9-5 Aero.
Released as a late 2010 model, the 2011 now boasts a panoramic glass roof
along with the great redesign. Overall makes the car have a much more
stately appearance and further set it in a more sport/luxury sedan class.
I take viewers on a close look through the interior and exterior of this
car while showing details, over viewing of features, and noting unique
styling cues to the vehicle itself. I also show the engine and the details
of it, start it up and see how it sounds under acceleration. A thorough
tour/review of this car designed to give others a greater overall
appreciation of the vehicle.

Here are the numbers in case you don't watch the video,
Stock, 184whp @ 5500 rpm, 230wtq @2500rpm
Tuned, 240whp @ 4900rpm 260wtq @3000-5000rpm
The car has a 2.5in FMIC, and dual Magnaflows on the stock piping. No
intake down pipe or anything, but Denso Iridium spark plugs at factory gap.
On the speed test, the car hit 130 in 4th, and would go no faster due to the speed limiter in the ecu.
