★メルセデスベンツ E320(W124)に関して 初代Eクラス(W124)はドイツ語で燃料噴射を意味するEを頭に排気量を示す3桁が並ぶようになったミディアムクラスである。 クリヤウインカー、スモークテールランプ、カラードバンパーなどが装備され、オーソドックスな4ドアセダンと2ドアクーペ、カブリオレ、ステーションワゴンをラインアップした。 基本のFR駆動に、6気筒3.2LのDOHCエンジンは最高出力（225ps/5500rpm ）、最大トルク 32.3kg・m/3750rpmを発揮した。 ベンツらしいベンツと称された124シリーズは今だに根強い人気がある。

This bus pulled out from the stop sign RIGHT into my path. He was either distracted or never looked. Even though I had the right of way and he was already stopped at the end of his road (Aiken St.) he pulled out RIGHT in front of me and turned left, which made it impossible for me to avoid colliding with him. The Mercedes' over-built and amazingly strong A-pillar did a miraculous job of protecting me. As the Paramedics, Police & Fire Fighters confirmed this sort of thing almost always ends in a fatality by decapitation or such. Naturally, we will be replacing the Mercedes with another E or S class.
