1999 Trans Am K.I.T.T. KNIGHT RIDER STYLE VOICE BOX VU METER
This is a Knight Rider voice box I put together for car shows. It was constructed with 84 3mm LED's and a 12 output sound VU meter I ordered from Bulgaria. I have 98 original K.I.T.T. voice sayings from the original series that loop on it with about 20-30 seconds of delay in between so that way he's not constantly talking.
Trans Am Knight Rider Light Scanner Version 3.5 + 4
Here are my latest versions of my Knight Rider Style lights. Version 3.5 in blue and Version 4 in red. My friend wrote me an awesome new program so I can now PWM (create fade effects) to all of my light scans. It's hard to see them in some of the scans in the video due to how a camera collects light but every scan has a faded beginning and end to them. The video doesn't do it justice to how good they look. My father-in-law is the owner of the Black TA. It was nice being able to film a 2nd car instead of using mine all the time (even though it is in it). I know it's a little crazy trying to watch 2 cars at once going through all of the scans but the Blue scanner has 20 of them and the Red scanner has 30. The video would be way too long if I did them separately. Thanks for watching!
Tech Specs:
Version 3.5
24 Output Control Box
100 5mm 35,000mcd LEDs
Left + Right Scoop are mirrors of each other
PWM fade effect
Remote Control
10 Speeds per scan
EEPROM saves last scan and the speed for all scans. What ever scan is running when it is turned off will begin when turned back on. The speed is saved independently for all scans. Once they are set, they don't have to be set again unless I want to change it.
Version 4
50 Output Control Box
200 5mm 35,000mcd LED
Independent LEFT - RIGHT scoops
Random Eye Scan (eyes move to random position for a random amount of time at a random speed. It will never do the same movement twice).
KNIGHT RIDER CARS II - KITT VS KARR - again.wmv
Ok, this video started out as nothing more than scanner testing, but.......well.....I have no excuse. LoL!! New Scanner install in "The Karr Project" with some........twists.
I guess this one is kind of a sequel to my other video "Knight Rider Cars."

"Talking" KITT from Knight Rider
Hey gang, Mike and Kitt here. Well, it's been a while, but I've got several videos coming starting with this one. Me and Kitt did a live performance in Jenks, Oklahoma. The MC (Rob) asked if I could bring Kitt for one of their Saturday night gatherings and if he would be able to have a live interview with him. This video represents a small portion of the evening, and me and Kitt doing our thing.
The voice interaction worked great too!! :-)
Stay tuned.....more coming.

1999 Trans Am Knight Rider Light Version 1
Here's a Knight Rider Light I made based off the new series (even though it's a Mustang). It is 64 Super Bright 8mm LED's and the controller. I custom made an enclosure for them so they are blacked out during the day.
KNIGHT RIDER KITT TECH TOYS.wmv
Hey folks, some new stuff here for 2010. After a full replacement VOX unit on my dash, I decided to look into some new tech toys that would give Kitt that......UMPHF that he was missing. :-) I've got some new add ons coming this summer as well.
Thanks to all the great comments you guys and gals have been sending me over the years. I hope you enjoy this video as much as the other ones.
Stay Tuned!!!

1999 Trans Am Complete Video (Knight Rider Lights, Underbody, Much More)
Here's a video I put together of most of the modifications I have on my 99' Trans Am. I had limited time to fit to the music so I couldn't fit them all but it gives some construction photos and before + after of the car itself. It started out as a stock Trans Am I purchased back in 2001. Many modifications later is what you see now. It's been in 2 magazines (High Performance Pontiac, and GM High Tech Performance). I wanted to put pictures of the article in here but I didn't have the space.
List of Modifications as of 5/15/09
Body:
WS6 style Hood, 30th anniversary style stripes in black, Wings West Ground Effect, ZR1 wheels (rear 17x11 with 315 35ZR17 and front 17x9 with 275 40ZR17 tires), slotted and drilled rotors with Hawk Pads)
Performance (Diablo Tuner, Whisper Air Lid, Magnaflow Cat Back Exhaust, 180 Powerstat) Many more performance mods to come...this will now be my next direction....maybe a procharger. :)
Special Mods: Front Light Up Bird, Rear Fiber Optic color changing bird, light up "Trans Am" lights on T-Bar, Dual 7" monitors with modified PS2 and DVD player, Custom made overhead console, Custom made glove box lighting control center, Knight rider hood scoop lights, lower scoop light, LED underbody lighting, Custom Scanmaster install, triple gauge pod (oil temp, trans temp, aeroforce interceptor gauge),
I know I forgot some stuff but this is all I can think of at the moment. I didn't include all of the engine dress up mods but it's too many to list.
