Travel back with JConcepts to a time when a truck was just a truck. Purpose built, no frills or luxury, just built Ford tough. Officially licensed by Ford, JConcepts introduces the 1979 Ford F-250 Ranger SCT body. Built as they were in the good ole days, JConcepts has brought an essence of the 1979 truck together with the latest offerings in competitive Short Course Racing. With detailed 70's styling, the hood scoop immediately is a standout retro feature which lends itself to the grill, fender and authentic 70's cab styling. JConcepts left no detail untouched on bringing this old / new theme to the SCT crowd and most notably the rear roll bars and front to back horizontal body lines that give the "79" unmatched SCT realism.
Like all JConcepts bodies, performance is always a top priority and the 1979 does not stop short in performance. The 1979 stance has been optimized utilizing dimensional aspects of the other popular JConcepts bodies, the Manta and Raptor SVT. If you want to get tough, look mean and attack the track with a fearless abandon, than jump into the time machine with JConcepts.

JConcepts video product release - Slash 4x4 - Manta body, Goose Bumps, Rulux wheels and over-tray
Get ready, JConcepts is on a roll with this fierce new Manta body. Upon
first glance, it is easy to visualize this new body gliding around on the
Slash, Slash 4x4 or SC10. Scale meets performance with the new JConcepts
Manta body, inspired from the ground up as a competition addict to turn
short course trucks into high performance machines.
The Manta begins with the latest in short course truck detail by
incorporating the latest treatment from JConcepts in grill and headlight
design with a racing influenced front bumper. Front and rear fender flares
provide the clearance necessary to run an assortment of short course tires
including the 4-time National Champion Goose Bumps.
The Slash 4x4 is the hottest new truck on the market and JConcepts is right
on top of this new release with the fresh looking Manta body.
Listen in as the crew from JConcepts describes it's unique and performance
oriented products specifically for the Slash 4x4. Featured in the video
is the well defined Manta body, chassis over-tray and Goose Bumps tires and
Rulux wheels. Hooking up the Slash 4x4 on any track is as easy as
mounting a set of Goose Bumps in sticky green compound on Rulux wheels.

Responses to Frequently Asked Questions:
Q: Do you have a video of/about _______?
A: Check by visiting my main channel page; hit the channel-specific search
box and enter a relevant keyword (fewer the better)
Q: How much does [a product] cost, or where can I buy it?
A: Hit up Google.com -- search for the product by name, then click the
Shopping results link to quickly & easily see the current price range. RC
items can be purchased from RC hobby shops, online RC shops like Tower
Hobbies, A-Main Hobbies, etc., or from eBay sellers.
Q: Why did you buy a brushed version of an RC to review, when there's a
brushless version available?
A: Many more people can afford to buy the brushed version -- not every
buyer has an unlimited budget. Also, brushed RCs can be VERY enjoyable to
own & run, even though they don't go 300mph.
Q: Why don't you review more nitro vehicles?
A: There are ***very*** few places in my highly-populated region where I
can legally operate a nitro RC. Also, I don't personally like the noise &
grime much (I have owned/run a number of nitro RCs).
Q: Why don't you test more high-end maximum-expense race vehicles?
A: I'm no longer a racer, and most viewers are not racers. I really enjoy
multi-purpose vehicles that can be driven places other than a track. Plus,
*proper* testing of a race vehicle *requires* a long, arduous, expensive
process involving extensive tuning and direct apples-to-apples driving
comparison against the leading competitor or two under identical
Q: How do you get your money to buy RC stuff?
A: By working. Hard. Really hard.
Q: I personally don't like what this video was about. Why did you post it?
A: Wait, why did you watch the video, when the title clearly says what it's
Q: Is URC dead?
