Q: Why did you buy a brushed version of an RC to review, when there's a brushless version available? A: Many more people can afford to buy the brushed version -- not every buyer has an unlimited budget. Also, brushed RCs can be VERY enjoyable to own & run, even though they don't go 300mph. Q: Why don't you review more nitro vehicles? A: There are ***very*** few places in my highly-populated region where I can legally operate a nitro RC. Also, I don't personally like the noise & grime much (I have owned/run a number of nitro RCs). Q: Why don't you test more high-end maximum-expense race vehicles? A: I'm no longer a racer, and most viewers are not racers. I really enjoy multi-purpose vehicles that can be driven places other than a track. Plus, *proper* testing of a race vehicle *requires* a long, arduous, expensive process involving extensive tuning and direct apples-to-apples driving comparison against the leading competitor or two under identical conditions. Q: How do you get your money to buy RC stuff? A: By working. Hard. Really hard. Q: I personally don't like what this video was about. Why did you post it? Chevy C10 Scalpel Body by JConcepts
Speed is everything; it's the greatest gift of R/C and particularly with the Traxxas Slash 4×4. An extremely popular off-road truck, the Slash 4×4, has all the components of an absolute beast of an on-road vehicle. JConcepts own design, the Scalpel, and front bumper conversion, convert the Slash 4×4 into an insane speed-run machine. Take on your personal salt-flats, drag strip or closed circuit course with power, speed, agility and style with JConcepts. The 1972 Chevy C10 truck body by JConcepts is a perfect complement to the Scalpel Speed-Run conversion kit for the Slash 4×4. Officially licensed, the C10 boasts a wide-body stance which allows it to tame high-speeds while showing off that all important retro look from the 1970's. Large front chin-spoiler with maximum impact grill treatment leaves the competition green with envy. Large fenders allow plenty of clearance for the 2.8" G-Locs tires and the C10 roof-line stands firm. A shallow bed area gives the truck-like appearance while maintaining that all inclusive speed-line structure. Finishing off the body is clean and smooth with the inclusion of grill, headlight, taillight and miscellaneous logos that make the C10 look the part. Throw it back in time, grab a Chevy C10 for your Scalpel conversion kit and blast into the future. 1972 Chevy C10 -- Slash 4×4, Scalpel Speed Run body Requires #2173 JC bumper conversion kit Part # -- 0267 UPC Code -- 845937010995 Retail price -- $43.00 (Fits -- Slash 4×4 -- requires #2173 JC bumper conversion kit) Music By: Spag Heddy - Pink Koeks http://www.beatport.com/release/pink-koeks-ep/1186025 General Motors Trademarks used under license to JConcepts, Inc. JConcepts has an all-terrain answer for trucks utilizing the 2.8" wheel, the Choppers and the RocX. The Choppers are available now and the RocX will be in stores mid Summer 2014. After the bashing success of the JConcepts Choppers tire, drivers have asked for an all-terrain alternative aimed toward high-end bashing performance in the 2.8" dimension. Inspired from some of the most successful JConcepts Racing Tires, the Choppers have the look, fit and finish of a hard-core racing tire on steroids. Whether you are an experienced racer or beginning driver, the Choppers in yellow and blue compound are designed to tear up surfaces ranging from grass and gravel to dirt and asphalt.

How i Built my RC Offroad track
I created this video from the pictures taken of the Offroad RC track being made. i ccompiled it all in sony vegas pro 9. it took around 2 days of solid work to complete, but it was well worth the effort. if you are wanting to make a similar rc track, think about what you want to do and just do it!!! i sat around thinking about it for the past year. and i am so glad i set my mind to design and build a track! the track is 4ft wide all the way around give or take 10 cm. whihc is the correct width if you are on your own or planning to race with one or two others. i currently own a Pureten alpha 1/10th scale touring car, have hopped up fuel pipe, heels, tyres, fuel tank, bodyshell, shocks. in the next few weeks i will be getting my Hot bodies stadium pro 2 truggy. this is a 1/8th scale truggy. unfortunately i wount be running it probably until christmas because it is a kit and does not include an engine, but i will see how the budget goes. hope you enjoy
