Travel back with JConcepts to a time when a truck was just a truck. Purpose built, no frills or luxury, just built Ford tough. Officially licensed by Ford, JConcepts introduces the 1979 Ford F-250 Ranger SCT body. Built as they were in the good ole days, JConcepts has brought an essence of the 1979 truck together with the latest offerings in competitive Short Course Racing. With detailed 70's styling, the hood scoop immediately is a standout retro feature which lends itself to the grill, fender and authentic 70's cab styling. JConcepts left no detail untouched on bringing this old / new theme to the SCT crowd and most notably the rear roll bars and front to back horizontal body lines that give the "79" unmatched SCT realism.
Like all JConcepts bodies, performance is always a top priority and the 1979 does not stop short in performance. The 1979 stance has been optimized utilizing dimensional aspects of the other popular JConcepts bodies, the Manta and Raptor SVT. If you want to get tough, look mean and attack the track with a fearless abandon, than jump into the time machine with JConcepts.

Responses to Frequently Asked Questions:
Q: Do you have a video of/about _______?
A: Check by visiting my main channel page; hit the channel-specific search
box and enter a relevant keyword (fewer the better)
Q: How much does [a product] cost, or where can I buy it?
A: Hit up Google.com -- search for the product by name, then click the
Shopping results link to quickly & easily see the current price range. RC
items can be purchased from RC hobby shops, online RC shops like Tower
Hobbies, A-Main Hobbies, etc., or from eBay sellers.
Q: Why did you buy a brushed version of an RC to review, when there's a
brushless version available?
A: Many more people can afford to buy the brushed version -- not every
buyer has an unlimited budget. Also, brushed RCs can be VERY enjoyable to
own & run, even though they don't go 300mph.
Q: Why don't you review more nitro vehicles?
A: There are ***very*** few places in my highly-populated region where I
can legally operate a nitro RC. Also, I don't personally like the noise &
grime much (I have owned/run a number of nitro RCs).
Q: Why don't you test more high-end maximum-expense race vehicles?
A: I'm no longer a racer, and most viewers are not racers. I really enjoy
multi-purpose vehicles that can be driven places other than a track. Plus,
*proper* testing of a race vehicle *requires* a long, arduous, expensive
process involving extensive tuning and direct apples-to-apples driving
comparison against the leading competitor or two under identical
Q: How do you get your money to buy RC stuff?
A: By working. Hard. Really hard.
Q: I personally don't like what this video was about. Why did you post it?
A: Wait, why did you watch the video, when the title clearly says what it's

Chevy C10 Scalpel Body by JConcepts
Speed is everything; it's the greatest gift of R/C and particularly with
the Traxxas Slash 4×4.
An extremely popular off-road truck, the Slash 4×4, has all the components
of an absolute beast of an on-road vehicle. JConcepts own design, the
Scalpel, and front bumper conversion, convert the Slash 4×4 into an insane
speed-run machine. Take on your personal salt-flats, drag strip or closed
circuit course with power, speed, agility and style with JConcepts.
The 1972 Chevy C10 truck body by JConcepts is a perfect complement to the
Scalpel Speed-Run conversion kit for the Slash 4×4. Officially licensed,
the C10 boasts a wide-body stance which allows it to tame high-speeds while
showing off that all important retro look from the 1970's. Large front
chin-spoiler with maximum impact grill treatment leaves the competition
green with envy.
Large fenders allow plenty of clearance for the 2.8" G-Locs tires and the
C10 roof-line stands firm. A shallow bed area gives the truck-like
appearance while maintaining that all inclusive speed-line structure.
Finishing off the body is clean and smooth with the inclusion of grill,
headlight, taillight and miscellaneous logos that make the C10 look the
part. Throw it back in time, grab a Chevy C10 for your Scalpel conversion
kit and blast into the future.

1979 Ford Bronco Ranger XLT 400 v8 4x4
1979 Ford Bronco Ranger XLT. What you see is what you get. Outside looks
great, few rust spots here and there. Floor board is rusty in places, as
the pictures show. 33 inch tires. 400 v8 under the hood. This thing hasn't
ran in 8 years, and I didn't want to fool around getting it started and
possibly break something, so I'll let whomever buys it tinker with it.
PERFECT Mud Boggin' truck. Axles have less than 30k on them. Newer 'WARN'
4x4 lock outs.
TRANS IS BAD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Other than the above, the only information I can provide is via pictures.
No paperwork, although paperwork could be gotten for the vehicle. Previous
owner moved a few times, and the paperwork was lost.
Was towing it from my buddy's house to mine and thought to get pictures
before it got dark...
Not a bad looking truck, for being 30 years old.
