GMC Syclone at Road America 2004 (chase cam)
One and a half laps. I had a blast! This was my first time on a road course. I detuned the truck to about a "high 12 second" performance level because I was running stock brakes (which I severely melted and have since upgraded). Stock motor GMC Syclone runs 11.79 @ 114 MPH
This was my fastest pass on the stock motor/trans/converter, with major mods of PT51 turbo, Ultimate chip, and SMC alcohol injection (with 93 octane fuel). It was a real trick to get that stock converter to spool up hard on the line! But just listen to those tires light up :-) Boost pressure: ~23 PSI.
