SCCA NARRC Race Lime Rock Park July 2 2011 ITS/ITR/ITB

Some of the closest racing this season between the front running ITS and ITR cars. Pole and second in qualifying were 6/1000 apart, a great indicator for the tight bumper to bumper race: three cars went over the finish line almost simultaneously. Car in front got penalized, so I made it first. Track was slippery and race lap times therefor mostly in the 1:01s. Shot from BMW 328 Robert Thiele, team Auto Technic using Flip UltraHD. Enjoy it in HD!

Lime Rock Park Scary Crash 1
Spec Racer Ford ran into the back of a Miata and spun in front of me during the 2012 NARRC Runoffs at Lime Rock. I tried to slow down and get away from the SRF's center but my car was drifting to the right after the left hander and had a mind of its own. Thankfully contact was made towards the left of the SRF and not in the center where the driver was sitting exposed. My car climbed on to the side of SRF and rolled over on it roof at the edge of the infamus Lime Rock "lake". Only a few feet away it was over 3 feet deep on that day. Both drivers walked away uninjured. Both cars are repairable.
