Running From The Guns
Australian B grade movie from the late '80s. Plot, acting and dialogue were all pretty bad. It featured rising star Jon Blake who ended up with horrific injuries while working on his next film. The good guys drove a real Shelby Cobra, COB 6043 I think is it's serial number. There's some great Aussie cars in it too.
Ford Falcon GTHO Phase 4 test drive
The Falcon GTHO Phase 4 is one of the rarest muscle cars ever built by Ford. Only 4 were ever made and 3 are beleived to still exist. 3 were purpose built for production car racing and only one made it through the production line before the program was cancelled due to the "muscle car scare" in Australia.
It is to Australia, what the Mustang Boss 429 is to the USA - The ultimate muscle car.

The Ford GT club put on a Ford GT Muscle Car day so I had a trip to heaven today when I went down to Maroochydore to see the Allan Moffat race cars along with a heap of other FORD & Falcon 351-GT's & GTHO's.
Many of these cars are worth $100,000's & the race cars are easily worth $1,000,000 yet people drive their cars on the road. I was amazed! Most of Moffat's cars were driven to the display although they didn't have far to go. They all live at Buderim.
The 1971 Ford Falcon XY GTHO phase 3 gave Moffat his first Australian Touring Car title in group 3 racing in 1973 & the first year a Ford Falcon won the Touring Car Championship.
Ah.......... to return to those heady days...............
