Pro Street - Ethan Barkley
Canadian drag racing champion Ethan Barkley likes his bike wired tight.
His 2006 Gixxie Thou is wired tighter than Dick's hatband. Running a
professional drag race bike requires a certain attention to detail that
eludes the average person. A certain desire for endless repetition,
note-taking, control adjusting, and the odd maniacal high speed pass or two
It's a singular desire for speed, completely devoid of any creature
comforts - such as turns. It is as pure as it is mental. And we mean that
in the kindest way.

Jason Britton - Anatomy of a Stuntbike
Stunt bikes are the pariahs of the motoworld. Most of their kind are born
only after the complete demise of their former beautiful selves. Mechanized
zombies prowling the parking lots and after-hours intersates of Anytown,
USA. And we love them all. We love them for their purpose-crafted
hideousness. We love them for their 'rattitude' and primered plastics. We
are endeared to them because they speak volumes about the street struggle.
But theirs is not the first struggle. Many years ago there was
another battle taking place around the sprawl of the LA basin. Its champion
was Jason Britton. Piloting Gixxers and TL1000Ss, he helped lay the
groundwork for a paradigm shift in the sportbike world. He changed the way
certain, more progressive manufacturers viewed their engineering and
marketing programs. Ultimately, he helped change the fundamentals of what
was possible aboard a sportbike.
When it comes to his personal bike setup, Jason will be the first to admit
that he is particular. Very Particular. Whether it's his stunt bikes or his
stable of roadrace and dirt bikes, setup is everything to Jason. And
appearance. Maintaining a clean and professional bike is a huge part of
Jason's marketing plan for his No Limit freestyle exhibition team. His
bikes feature a slew of the industry's tastiest components. If a part
exists that can help elevate his game, you can bet that you'll find it on
Jason's bike. Oddly enough, for a rider that spares no expense when
outfitting his ride, Jason runs completely stock suspension components. He
claims that the factory Kawi suspension is bomber quality stuff and capable
of handling the abuse that his riding levies on the bike. After four years
of watching him punish his Ninjas, we believe him. Check out the video for
a sampling of Jason and Eric Hoenshell putting their bikes to the test.

behind the bike and into the world of freestyle stunt riding through the
eyes of one of the sports most recognized riders, factory-sponsored Jason
Britton. Stunting is not what it used to be. Big name sponsors, factory
support and viral videos have legitimized this wild world of wheelies,
stoppies, drifts and more. New bike technology and aftermarket parts have
helped stunt riders raise the bar. Will the 2013 Kawasaki ZX-6R (636)
become the most sought after stunt platform available? Find out what Jason

Jason Britton Motorcycle Stunt Show In The Rain - Team No Limits Kawasaki Ninja
Team no Limits Jason Britton and Eric Hoenshell put on a great motorcycle
stunt show in the rain at the Motorcycle Show during a big California rain
storm. No Limits really does mean No Limits. They were able to pull off
all of their favorite motorcycle tricks on their Kawasaki Ninja motorcycles
despite being all wet, and the crowd loved it. Then they went inside and
did an autograph session. They were really positive and nice to everyone,
and the little kids at the show were really excited to meet them. If you
ever get a chance to see Jason Britton and Eric Hoenshell and Team No
Limits do a motorcycle stunt show, do it. And don't worry about it being
rained out. They'll show you how to ride a motorcycle in the rain during a
flood. This was the first time I used my JVC Everio HD video camera in the
rain, and I didn't ruin it.

Motorcycle stunt riding, sometimes referred to as simply stuntriding, is a
motorcycle sport characterized by stunts involving acrobatic maneuvering of
the motorcycle and sometimes the rider. Common maneuvers in stunt riding
include wheelies, stoppies, and burnouts. Sport bikes have become a common
vehicle for stunts.
A wheelie on a motorized vehicle is nothing new. In drag racing they are
considered a problem, robbing power that could be used to accelerate the
vehicle faster, and many classes
of drag racing use wheelie bars to prevent them.
But those are for vehicles specifically built for drag racing, which rarely
are street-legal, or unmodified from stock. In contrast, since at least the
1970s, some motorcycles straight from the showroom floor were able to be
In the late 1980s and continuing today, motorcycles, and especially
sportbikes, have become lighter and more powerful, and have therefore
become easier to wheelie. Other stunts have also become possible if not
easy with the advancement of motorcycle technology.
Stunters are a controversial subculture of motorcycling. Stunters perform
motorcycle stunts on sportbikes, both on public roads and in private
venues. Some stunters even have organized commercial teams.
