Mid-size sedan leaders like the Honda Accord and Toyota Camry get a lot of attention but Nissan's Altima also sells in surprisingly big numbers. In fact, Nissan sells more Altima's than anything else. But they would love to sell even more and this 5th generation Altima sedan is how they plan to do just that. Now the Altima is still a great car it's just that the inside feels to similar to me of the last generation. Bluetooth and Projector Beam Headlamps are standard on all Altimas now. More High Tech Features are available though like Blind Spot Monitoring and Lane Departure Warning. We like the style of this new Altima it looks like the Maxima now. Rear Legroom is one of the smallest for this class. At least fuel economy is Very Good for a midsize Sedan earning 27 City and 38 Hwy without being any hybrid or Special Eco variant and earning best in class fuel economy. It matches the fuel economy of the new Malibu which is a mild hybrid. All in all it's a very great car if your looking for a new midsize sedan be sure to check this one out, remember that a coupe is also available. 2014 Nissan Altima 3.5 SL Test Drive & V-6 Sedan Video Review
The Nissan Altima is not the most exciting car in the company's line-up when you think about cars like the GTR or the 370Z. But the Nissan Altima is a more utilitarian car that gets the job done day in and day out. Nissan has done a good job of tying the styling together throughout the family. The 2014 Nissan Altima does have its sporty cues with the sharp cut headlights, aggressive spindle grille, and 17-inch alloy wheels. Gone is the coupe model leaving behind only the 4-door sedan and its 7 different trim levels that are priced between $21,860 $30,660. Find out more about the 2014 Nissan Altima http://www.autobytel.com/nissan/altima/2014/?id=32972 The base model cars are powered by a 2.5 liter 4-cylinder. The model tested here is the king-of-the-hill 3.5 SL which has a 3.5 liter V-6 under the hood that makes 270 horsepower and 251 lb-ft. of torque which is plenty for a passenger sedan. The CVT trans helps the Altima V-6 achieve 22 MPG in the city and 31 MPG on the highway. Just as the outside of the 2014 Nissan Altima has grown up and matured, so too has the interior space. This top of the line car is packed with a ton of goodies like a Touch Screen Navigation Unit, Backup Camera, Heated Seats, Steering Wheel mounted controls, and more. The Nissan tows the line between sport and comfort as a passenger car. If you are thinking about the Altima just know you are getting a far superior car than the cheaper siblings like the Versa and Sentra. There is an Altima out there that can fit the needs of most car shoppers. 2013 Nissan Altima Test Drive & Car Video Review
http://www.autobytel.com/nissan/altima/2013/?id=32972 Nissan calls the 2013 Altima the most innovative Altima ever as this model represents the 5th generation. Practically every facet of the car has been upgraded for the better from the more stylish exterior, to the smooth design and finish of the interior; the Altima looks to distance itself from the pack in a very competitive sedan segment. The 2013 Nissan Altima comes in 7 different trim levels with the base 2.5 sedan costing $21,500. The fully loaded 3.5 SL tops out at $30,080. On the outside the first thing you notice about the 2013 Nissan Altima is the body lines which look more like Nissan's luxury line Infiniti. There are chrome accents everywhere and the rear LED taillights are hard to miss. The body and chassis are lighter thanks in part to the use of aluminum. The overall drag coefficient of the 2013 Nissan Altima was also reduced which in turn helps lower fuel consumption. The interior of the 2013 Nissan Altima is quite spacious for a mid size sedan. The materials used are very high quality and the interior features are nicely laid out. Again the Altima seems to take a que from the Infiniti design line. There are 2 different engines options. The first is a 2.5 liter 4-cylinder engine that makes 182 horsepower and 180 lb-ft. of torque. The Altima might seem a bit low in the power department but with the Xtronic Continuously Variable Transmission, Nissan thinks the 2013 Altima will net 38 MPG on the highway making it one of the most fuel efficient sedans on the road. The other engine choice is a 3.5 liter V-6 that produces 270 horsepower and 258 lb-ft. of torque. Driving dynamics are much improved as the rear suspension now consists of a multilink setup based on the 370Z sports car. The ZF Sachs shock absorbers are more commonly found on high end luxury cars from Europe. The 2013 Nissan Altima has a trick Active Understeer Control System which keeps the driver in control. Understeer is eliminated by the computer as brake pressure is applied to the inside wheel automatically. The 2013 Nissan Altima comes loaded with a bunch of standard features. The seats have been redesigned and test to improve posture and reduce fatigue. There is an Advanced Display which makes it easy for the driver to get vehicle information and navigation instructions. The Altima comes standard with Nissan's safety shield which adds over 50 features including a Lane Departure Warning System, Blind Spot Warning System, and Moving Object Detection System. 2013 Nissan Sentra Review, Walkaround, Exhaust, & Test Drive
Newly redesigned for 2013, the Nissan Sentra looks to place itself in the same league as the top-sellers for the compact class. With impressive fuel-economy, a generous back-seat, and a low price, the current Sentra seems like a great compact on paper. Only buyers looking for the sportiest and most technologically advance compact car will find there's something to be desired.

DETAILED Review | 2015 Nissan Altima on Everyman Driver
http://www.everymandriver.com/ - 2015 @Nissan @NissanUSA Altima DETAILED Review @EverymanDriver @IMDaveErickson The 2015 Nissan Altima is available in two main configurations: 2.5 or 3.5. The number signifies the engine specified (2.5-liter four-cylinder or 3.5-liter V6). From there, you'll have your choice of a base model (2.5 only) or increasing amounts of features through the S, SV and SL trim levels. The base 2.5 Altima sedan starts with 16-inch steel wheels, full power accessories, a 4.3-inch LCD information display in the gauge cluster, a height-adjustable driver seat, Bluetooth phone and audio connectivity, and a four-speaker sound system with a CD player and an auxiliary input jack. The 2.5 S steps up to automatic headlights, keyless ignition and entry, cruise control, a six-speaker sound system and an optional power driver seat with six-way adjustability (i.e., a powered version of the standard seat). It's also eligible for the Display Audio package, which contributes a 5-inch touchscreen display, a rearview camera, a USB port, satellite radio and smartphone app integration (NissanConnect). The V6-engined 3.5 S comes with all of those features (including the Display Audio package) plus 18-inch alloy wheels and steering-wheel-mounted paddle shifters. The 2.5 SV trim adds 17-inch alloy wheels, foglights, an eight-way power driver seat (with power lumbar adjustment), dual-zone automatic climate control, a leather-wrapped steering wheel, the contents of the Display Audio package and remote ignition. The 3.5 SV is the same but keeps its 18-inch wheels. The Altima 2.5 SL boasts LED taillights, a heated steering wheel, leather upholstery, heated front seats, a four-way power front passenger seat and a nine-speaker Bose sound system. You can also get two additional packages for the 2.5 SL: The Convenience package includes a sunroof, rear air-conditioning vents and an auto-dimming rearview mirror, while the Technology package bundles a 7-inch touchscreen, voice controls, a navigation system and electronic safety features including blind-spot monitoring, rear cross-traffic alert and lane-departure warning. The Altima 3.5 SV and SL are equipped similarly to their 2.5 counterparts, but both come standard with the contents of the Convenience and Technology packages. The 3.5 SL also comes exclusively with xenon headlights. All 2015 Nissan Altimas employ front-wheel drive and a CVT. The Altima 2.5 models are powered by a 2.5-liter four-cylinder engine rated at 182 horsepower and 180 pound-feet of torque. In Edmunds performance testing, an Altima 2.5 zipped from zero to 60 mph in 7.8 seconds, one of the quicker times we've measured for a four-cylinder family sedan. EPA-estimated fuel economy is an extraordinary 31 mpg combined (27 city/38 highway). The Altima 3.5 models upgrade to a 3.5-liter V6 that pumps out 270 hp and 251 lb-ft of torque. We hustled an Altima 3.5 from zero to 60 mph in 6.2 seconds -- another impressive result. Fuel economy, too, is very good at 26 mpg combined (22 city/32 highway). 2014 New Car Buyer's Guide: Top 10 Sedans and SUVs Reviewed: Buy it here: http://www.amazon.com/dp/B00LZ8R1SK Rudy Project Sunglasses 25% Off at this link: http://bit.ly/rudy-emd Enter the code 'EMD' during checkout at http://www.xx2i.com/ to receive a 50% discount! Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/2Redline Instagram: http://instagram.com/sofyan_bey Subscribe today for all the latest reviews! As the best-selling and most important model in Nissan's lineup, the all-new fifth generation Altima sedan continues to move up the mid-size family sedan ladder with improved fuel-efficiency, refinement, technology, and space. It's a top-pick in a segment crowded with excellent offerings, only a lack of a manual transmission and somewhat deja-vu styling may have other buyers looking elsewhere.
