1979 Camaro - Loud as hell!
I took this small video at the classic car show in Kaufering (Germany).
This car was loud as hell! I apologize for the poor sound quality of my
camera but I think it still gives a nice impression.
71 Camaro RS 509ci (First drive)
1st drive after 5 years of complete recontruction. Everything was changed
and this is the first drive to test motor, brakes, steering, etc..
Obviously I'm babying it, no revs yet.

Chevrolet Camaro Z28 - Test Drive and Hoon of a 3rd Gen
A simple morning drive featuring a 1982 Camaro Z28 with a few mechanical
updates. This car was built to be driven and I do... a lot.
Here's a list of some of the additions:
GM Performance 290 HP 350 c.i. crate engine
Baer T4 Cross drilled and slotted brakes
Flowmaster 3" Exhaust
Spohn tubular control arms and torque arm
Koni adjustable shocks
Flaming River quick ratio steering box and leather wheel
OMP racing seats
6 point mild steel cage
6 Speed manual transmission built by Hanlon Motorsports
...and the seriously sweet Alpine cassette stereo from the 80's!
1971 Chevy Camaro RS/SS 396 Big Block - www.midlifemotors.com 303.327-1435
Some cars are built to look at. This one was built to drive and listen
to!!! This is the car that scares small woodland animals and makes little
kids cry! In fact, you just might pee your pants standing next to this BIG
BLOCK 396 Camaro! We
built this car to enjoy. It took us a year and a half of blood, sweat,
tears, and lots of celebration as we designed and built the drive-train to
have plenty of power and sound, while still being able to cruise to any car
show in the country. Built the suspension to drive nice, not too stiff, not
too soft, very responsive. The interior remained 99% stock in appearance
for nostalgia sake, the start button, steering wheel, and cd player are the
only visual upgrades. This is a car that needs to be driven and enjoyed,
don't let it collect dust in a museum!
Pikes Peak 2011 near miss
Ralph Murdoch's 1970 Camaro drifted out of the normal
line and nearly went off the road. His back tire was in the loose stuff
when he gunned it spraying me with dust and gravel. The only casualty was a
chipped camera lens and mouthful of dirt, but no one was hurt and Murdoch
went on to win the vintage class with a time of 12:51.004.
What you can't see from the video is that this is in an S-curve and the
other cars were hugging the apex on the other side of the road from me. I
was joined at this spot throughout the day by other seasoned photographers
and even a race official said it was a safe spot to shoot. But like any
rally event, anything can happen. If you still feel the need to comment and
tell me how much you wish I was dead, knock yourself out.
