Stage 1 of our 2011 Mustang V6 Project - AmericanMuscle.com
Check out the 1st of our 4 part series where we take this stock 2011 Ford
Mustang 3.7L V6 Automatic
and turn it into the V6 we guarantee nobody will want to mess with! We'll
be building this project car up in 4 Stages of modifications, so follow
Stage 1 Modifications:
• Airaid CAI/Bama Performance Tuner - http://muscle.am/paLpp5
• Pre-Painted Side Scoops - http://muscle.am/qRF7x1
• Pre-Painted Eleanor Louvers - http://muscle.am/qHLJgi
• Mustang Magnetic Deck

Ford did a great job with this 2011 V6 Mustang. Not only does the car live
up to the 305 horsepower rating, when we
tested it out on our in-house Dynojet 224xLC, it responded
very well to aftermarket modifications like the Airaid Cold Air Intake and
Bama Performance Custom Tunes. We picked up as much as 22HP and 30TQ
throughout the curve. Then, we headed to the track to see what the 1/4 mile
results were. Stock, we laid down a 14.1 second pass, but with the cold air
intake and Bama tunes, we were able to knock off over a half second,
bringing our 1/4 mile ET down to 13.6! All of this with the stock 2.73
gear ratio, stock Automatic transmission and stock 17" all-season tires!
The car also looked much better than stock after we added a set of our
Pre-Painted Eleanor Louvers for the 1/4 windows as well as Side Scoops and
Mirror Covers - all in Race Red!
2011 Mustang 3.7L V6 C&L CAI, Roush Axel-Back Exhaust, Bama Tuned
Just installed the C&L Cold Air Intake, Roush Axel-Back Exhaust, and the Bama 93 Custom Tune. Love the
sound of the new Exhaust even though
it is kind of loud and I can definitely feel the difference with the CAI
and the tune. Feels like a different car. I bested a 13.75 in the quarter
when I was stock so I look forward to seeing what I get with these
upgrades. I will be posting that vid up as soon as I get a chance to run it
at the quarter.
ProCharged 2011 V6 Mustang
ProCharger is first to market with an intercooled Supercharger system for the 2011 3.7L V6 Mustang. Utilizing the standard
P-1SC-1 Supercharger, this system takes
the V6 pony car from 270 RWHP to a massive 427 RWHP with 8psi of Boost on 91 octane pump gas. Visit
ProCharger.com for more information.
3.7L Mustang Beats 5.0L Mustang at the Drag Strip
Supercharged 2011 3.7L V6 Mustang versus 2011 5.0 CS Mustang. Before you start the flame
wars know that the 3.7L Mustang has about 80-90 more RWHP
than the 5.0. The 5.0 Had some Exhaust
mods. Also please stop with the 5.0 needs a driver mod. Until you post your
stock 5.0 drag video keep it to yourself. Troll Comments will be deleted!
The 3.7L Motor is a true marvel. Performing similar to the 4.6 Motor. Some
people want to test its potential versus buying a 5.0. This also marks the
first 3.7L Mustang to hit
12's. This world title makes it worth not having the v8 sound. More info at
http://v6Mustangperformance.com for pics and
I have to thank Nitto for the NT05R tires and Weld Wheels for the black RTS
wheels (I got a lot of compliments on the wheels), Darryl Bassani for the
full Exhaust system. Check out my
other video for more Exhaust sounds.
BMR suspension for a upper rear control arm, Barton short throw shifter,
Shaftmasters for a 1 piece aluminum drive shaft, and of course ProCharger
for the Supercharger kit.
2011 V6 Mustang Stock Drag Run
2011 V6 Mustang Drag Run at
Kansas City International Raceway. 14.328 at 98.81 This car is bone stock.
That's right no tune, no CAI. Nothing. Street tires and 87 octane gas.
Manual Transmission and 3.31 gears. I could not get traction at all.
Terrible 60' times and chirped the tires up to third. Shot with three
cameras. two GoPro cams and a regular Cam. You can view the time slip here.
2007 Ford Mustang Shelby GT vs. 2008 Subaru Impreza WRX STI
Look no further than the hood scoops on the 2008 Subaru Impreza WRX STI and
2007 Ford Shelby GT to find the fundamental difference in their
personalities. It's here that both cars' sense of purpose and ability is
displayed prominently and publicly as a statement of their true character.
2011 Mustang V6 3.7L Dyno C&L CAI, Roush Axle Back Exhaust, AM Bama Race 93 Tune
2011 Mustang V6 3.7L Dyno with C&L Cold Air
Intake, Roush Axle Back Exhaust, and
an American Muscle Bama Race 93 Octance Tune. The conditions were not ideal
when this was done, 77 degrees and humid as it was raining earlier but it
is what it is. I was hoping to break the 300HP mark but only managed to
make 292rwhp and 276rwtq. Maybe if the conditions were better I might be
closer to the 300RWHP if not right on it. The car is estimated to make
around 325HP-335HP to the crank. From stock the gain is about 25-30HP
total. Not bad considering I still have my CATs and stock headers and
2011 Subaru STi acceleration 0-60, 0-120, 0-130mph.
Turning 2011 STi. These are baseline pulls with Accessport v2 stage 2 ots
maps. Tuning nearly complete will have comparison vid up next.
