Marcus Graf von Oeynhausen und Frank Stippler gewannen auf Jaguar E-Type das 4h Rennen auf der Nürburgring Nordschleife im Programm des 39.AvD Oldtimer Grand-Prix. Mit einem Vorsprung von knapp zwei Minuten setzten Sie sich nach 507km Renndistanz gegen die Vorjahressieger "Fred" und "Barney" auf Ford Fairlane durch. Das Video zeigt die erste Rennrunde mit Marcus Graf von Oeynhausen der bei gemeinstem Eifelwetter zunächst einige Plätze verliert aber bis zum Ende der ersten Runde wieder auf Platz 2 vorfährt. Kamerposition und Ton sind nicht optimal, aber die Arbeit am Volant entschädigt.

My 1963 series one E-Type jaguar being started on the key for the first time since 1977 Had been stored since 1977 or earlier and i am in the proccess of recomisioning it It was tow started a few weeks earlier to assertain the condition of the engine. Notice the damper jumping out of the carb when it is reved up

The Jag was last licensed in 1983 and spent the last 15 years outside with a deteriorated car cover. This was a nut and bolt restoration. Everything was rebuilt or replaced. Every motor, caliper, assembly, etc. was dissassembled and rebuilt.
