1998 Panoz Roadster
If your into the car that is a bit more unique than the standard repetitive stuff you see at car shows then you have just stumbled across your holy grail. Many people have not heard of Panoz but if you have you are aware that these one of a kind cars are all built by hand. Taking inspiration from race cars Panoz creates extremely unique automobiles that you won't see anywhere else. One of the most amazing things about them is the fit and finish is something you would expect from a billion dollar car manufacturer like Ford or Chevrolet. When you typically think of custom built cars you don't expect the tightness you would from something that rolled off the assembly line in 2013. Well this car has that. Why so unique you may ask? Well if the overall look of the car isn't enough the fact that only 176 were produced to sell between 1997 - 1999 should do the trick. People and investors with an interest in cars are constantly looking for the next Shelby Mustangs, Hemi Cudas, and rare Corvettes. It can be difficult to predict what may be considered rare in the future but you can bet the Panoz line of vehicles will be on the list. The aluminum body has a very unique appearance with a tail similar to a Cobra and a nose more like a track t. This streamline appearance hugs the ground and creates a road racer appearance that impresses everyone who gets a chance to see it. A aluminum block 4.6 liter powers the car and as you can imagine provides plenty of torque. With a weight of roughly 2,500 lbs you can imagine what 305 horsepower can really do. These cars are extremely cool and if you ever have a chance to drive one...DO IT! You will be amazed at the performance and handling capabilities it has to offer. Panoz Abruzzi Spirit of Le Mans
I film the all-new, limited edition Panoz Abruzzi Spirit Of Le Mans at it's North American debut during the 2010 Petit Le Mans endurance race at Road Atlanta. Besides possibly being the most evil-looking production car ever, it is also a technological marvel. I am pleased to present the first full video of this car on youtube. The Abruzzi Spirit of Le Mans consists of only 81 examples, which in 2013 represents the number of 24 Hours of Le Mans races since the event's inception in 1923. All of the Spirit of Le Mans editions will be sold in Europe, the Middle East and Asia. The Corvette ZR1's V8 engine is used to produce over 600 hp in the Abruzzi, which, like every other Panoz, is handbuilt in Hoschton, Georgia. In addition to the mammoth power and torque from the LS9, the car is super light and super strong, being the first road car built with the new REAMS material, which is stronger and lighter than carbon fiber. I could go on about all of the incredible details incorporated into this car, but I'll let the car speak for itself. :) Enjoy! The song is Genesis by Justice.

Vintage Racing - 1950s Indy Cars startup and race. LOUD!!!
Chris Ashworth records a series of 1950s Indy Cars at Michigan International Speedway. This was a vintage racing event that was associated with the Concours d'elegance of America, where these cars were on display after this event. This event was incredible! I got to wander in the pits and the garage area. You will hear these cars starting up right from the tailpipes, and you will see them driving on the track from the pits.
