Porsche 924 Race Mallory Park 26/04/2009
My demon start from 8th to 4th by the first corner. Unfortunately the clutch failed and eventually I couldn't get any gears coming out of the hairpin so had to retire.

TR7V8 Race @ Oulton Park (2005) Part 1 **Better Quality**
Full race cut into 3 parts. Part 1.
My TR7V8 racing at Oulton Park in 2005. After problems in qualifying, I started from the back. But was still suffering with the rear axle moving laterally. After the race it had moved 4 inches to the left.

1981 Porsche 924
For sale is my classic 1981 Porsche 924
This car is a great introduction for a first time Porsche owner. It's practical performance and affordable cost of ownership were the reasons I chose this 924 as my first Porsche.
A small warning, once you've owned a Porsche you will find it disappointing driving anything else.
A Porsche is all about the driving and this 924 is no exception it's handling and breaking are every bit as satisfying as a Porsche should be.
Great on the corners, direct feedback from the non power assisted steering, breaks that are better than most modern cars and reasonable take off.
What you don't get is the crushing cost of ownership, the complication and the inflated price tag of a similar vintage 944, 928 or 911.
This car has been regularly service and I have done many small repairs and parts replacement. With the aim of making this a reliable daily classic car.
Recent work include:
4 new Yokohama tyres
New fuel pump
New carpets
Head gasket
New windscreen
Whilst not perfect this vehicle is original and complete.
This car has been a joy to drive and own. Being reliably used as a second car for weekend drives around the region and on the occasional commute into Melbourne.
The paint (Guards Red originally Brown) is in good condition with a few small stone chip, shopping centre scrapes and gutter bruising to the front spoiler. Whilst not in concourse condition and the front seats need some repairs this car is something special for an almost 30 year old vehicle.
The engine and and transmission are in great order for their age and have never let me down. Air conditioning not working.
Selling to upgrade. Will be sad to see it go, I really enjoy driving this car.
Don't miss this opportunity to make this car your first Porsche.
Ready to drive away.
Please contact me if you have any questions, would like additional photos or would like to arrange an inspection (highly recommended).
