2012 Buick Verano Test Drive & Luxury Car Video Review
http://www.autobytel.com/buick/verano/2012/ The 2012 Buick Verano is a good indication of the American luxury car maker's path towards the future. The decision to set their sights on a younger market can be seen by Buick's new design language, as well as their move towards smaller and more fuel efficient engines. One such vehicle hat benefits from these moves is the affordable entry level Verano. In fact the base price for the 2012 Buick Verano is $22,585.
The Buick Verano is built on the same chassis as the Chevrolet Cruise. The 2012 Buick Verano is powered by a direct injection 2.4 liter 4-cylinder engine that produces 180 horsepower and 171 lb-ft. of torque. The transmission is a 6-speed automatic. Fuel economy figures are 21 MPG in the city and 31 MPG on the highway. The Verano also features StabilitTrak with Traction Control to keep you safe on the road. Speaking of safety the Verano sports ten standard airbags and was named a 2012 IIHS Top Safety pick.
On the inside the 2012 Buick Verano is very comfortable. The car's design is compact but it fits what the vehicle is intended to do. The steering wheel is nice and compact and the integrated controls are right where they are supposed to be. All the materials including the premium ribbon fabric lining many of the interior parts gives the feel of luxury. The wood trim is nice and warm feeling. And the Verano benefits from something called Quiettuning Technology which adds Acoustic Laminated Glass, Triple-Sealed Doors, and better Chassis Dynamics for a much quieter ride for the occupants. The optional GPS Navigation System is a must have. The Verano comes Bluetooth enabled and the BOSE Premium Sound System sounds incredible.

2012 Chevrolet Cruze LTZ Test Drive & Car Video Review with RS Package
http://www.autobytel.com/chevrolet/cruze/2012/?id=32972 The 2012 Chevrolet
Cruze is a new model added to the Chevy line-up of cars. The Cruze debuted
in 2011 and since then it has been a great selling compact car for
Chevrolet. This great all around vehicle exudes style and carries a very
affordable price tag. The base price on the 2012 Chevrolet Cruze is $18,275
with the top of the line LTZ model tested here starting at $23,190.
Chevrolet really went all out on the Cruze in the style department. The
shape of this car is closer to that of the luxury segment with its sculpted
body and sharp angles. The 2012 Chevy Cruze has a lot of the same family
resemblance found on other Chevrolet vehicles like the Traverse and Malibu.
Upfront the Cruze has the unique twin grin grille shared by many Chevy
automobiles, the hood is a clams shell design, the headlights are large and
blend in with the rest of the front end, and the shoulder lines are high
giving the Cruze a very aerodynamic look. The RS package equipped on this
road test vehicle adds body parts that give the Cruze a much more sporty
appearance. The RS package includes new front and rear bumpers, lower
spoilers, and a rear wing. The RS also adds fog lights and a better looking
instrument panel complete with chrome accent rings.
The powertrain on the 2012 Chevrolet Cruze is more upscale than that of its
compact car class brethren. The engine in the LTZ is a 1.4 liter turbocharged motor designed for both performance
and fuel economy. The small displacement ensures the Cruze is fuel
efficient while the turbocharger adds a
tons on usable horsepower. Power output is
138 horsepower and
148 lb-ft. of torque. Combined with a 6-speed automatic or manual
transmission, the Cruze gets excellent gas mileage. Fuel economy ratings
for the LTZ model are 26 MPG in the city and 38 MPG on the highway.
The 2012 Chevrolet Cruze really stands out from the crowd thanks to its
premium interior. The steering wheel has a cool design, is wrapped in
leather, and features integrated cruise control, Bluetooth, and stereo
controls. The leather seats not only look great but they provide tons of
comfort as well. The 2012 Chevrolet Cruze has more interior room than many
competitors in the compact sedan class and it features more cargo volume
than the Civic, Corolla, and Focus.
Besides being fuel efficient, spacious, and good looking; the 2012
Chevrolet Cruze packs 10 standard airbags. In fact the Cruze was named a
Top Safety Pick for 2012 by the IIHS. To make the car more stable on the
road, Chevrolet added the StabiliTrak Electronic Stability Control System
with Traction Control as an added layer of safety. The Cruze is a great car
for the price and should be taken for a test drive is you are looking to
purchase a small compact sedan.

2012 Hyundai Equus Test Drive & Luxury Car Review
http://www.autobytel.com/hyundai/equus/2012/?id=32972 Everything you would
expect in a luxury sedan can be found in the 2012 Hyundai Equus. In fact
the Equus is a very nice alternative to Lexus, BMW, and Mercedes at a more
affordable price. The Equus is a RWD long wheel base luxury sedan with a
base price of $59,000. This is $15k-$30k less than is competition!
When the Equus was first launched in this country it came with a very
respectable 4.6 liter engine. But the engine certainly did not have the
guts to match up to some of the competitors in the luxury car segment. For
the 2012 model year the Equus gets an updated GDI 5.0 liter V-8 engine
produces huge numbers at 429 horsepower and 376 lb-ft. of
torque. The transmission is an 8-speed automatic. Fuel economy figures are
15 MPG in the city and 23 MPG on the highway.
Hyundai has gone to great lengths to shed the image that their cars lack
character. Well the new fluidic design element is evident on the 2012
Hyundai Equus. Up front the Equus shares the same style front grill as the
Genesis sedan. HID Xenon headlights equipped with LED turn signals really
accent the exterior of this luxury sedan. The 19-inch chrome wheels are
also a great touch and they perfectly accentuate the other chrome accents
parts on the exterior. The Equus can easily be mistaken for a Lexus or
other high-end luxury cars.
If you got behind the wheel of a 2012 Hyundai Equus, you might think you
are in a Lexus LS 460. The gauges are very similar to that of other
high-end luxury cars and the seat adjustments are located on the door just
like they are in a Mercedes S550. There is an 8-inch navigation unit that
also displays driver information located in the center dash. The whole
interior is wrapped in high quality leather. There are lovely wood accents
throughout. The audio is handled by a 608-watt Lexicon sound system. The
driver's seats are 12-way adjustable and feature both heating and cooling.
In the back there are two premium first-class seats that can recline and
feature leg support. The center console in the rear is a mini fridge. The
2012 Hyundai Equus combines all the best features found on other luxury
cars in one great package.

( http://www.TFLcar.com ) The brand new 2013 Dodge Dart and Buick Verano
and Chrysler 200 all have something in common. Besides the fact that they
are all front wheel drive sedans they are also Starter Sedans that all can
be purchased for under $30,000 USD. The Dodge Dart is the sportiest car of
the three while Buick Verano is the most luxurious and the Chrysler 200 is
the most powerful. So which of these three sedans is the best? We try to
answer that question this unique and fun TFLcar Mashup Review.
2012 Buick Verano review
Buick introduces a compact near-luxury sedan based on the popular Chevrolet
Cruze platform. By adding more power, sound insulation and refinement to an
already comfortable car, the Verano is unique in the marketplace.
2012 Buick Verano takes quiet tuning to new level of refinement
The all-new 2012 Buick Verano luxury sedan, which goes on sale later this
year, is expected to deliver one of the quietest driving experiences in the
industry -- better than key competitors Lexus IS 250 and Acura TSX.
Buick noise and vibration engineers fine-tuned Verano to the highest
standard of quietness by replicating the hushed interior of another luxury
sedan -- the Buick LaCrosse.
Vehicles generate noise in a number of ways, including the transmission and
gears, air induction and Exhaust,
electro and electromechanical parts, fuel delivery and brake function, as
well as road and wind noise.
A dozen noise-reducing and noise-cancelling technologies are used
throughout Verano's body structure for increased cabin isolation and
quietness -- all without adding net weight to the car.
