D3 ULTRACHARGER | Stage 3 - 3.6L Supercharger
3.6L...if you think about it, thats like a CTS V6 sitting on top of a CTS-V! The Stage 3 ULTRACHARGER kit is designed to function within the confines of the OEM CTS-V motor also. However to achieve the true potential of this system it is seriously recommended that the engine/short block be built to handle the additional output of the Stage 3 ULTRACHARGER. This is the big bad brother to the Stage 2 ULTRACHARGER System, THE Stage 3. Designed to be the pinnacle of bolt on blower performance, THE Stage 3 will not leave you yearning for more. We are talking about 3.6L worth of displacement through the ULTRACHARGER sitting on top of a motor no smaller than 6.2L. This is more than half of the displacement of your OEM motor sitting on top of it feeding the engine. In other words you have a V6 CTS base motor feeding your engine!!! Why does size matter? If we use this example of the Supercharger spinning (2) revolutions for every (1) engine revolution the breakdown would be as follows: OEM Supercharger of 1.9L will generate 3.8L worth of compressed air for every 1 engine revolution. Whereas the 3.6L will generate 7.2L worth of compressed air in that same single engine revolution! The results of moving this much air is the potential to generate up to 1200BHP. Yes, we said 1200BHP. In typical D3 fashion this system will be a complete system ready for installation. The best part about all of this is that it will bolt into place without any major modifications or permanent modifications to the vehicle. The kit comes with all components and hardware required for installation. Just because we have added copious amounts of power and torque that we forgot one second about the fact that this is a Cadillac. The driveability will remain sophisticated and refined with an aggressive edge. Our attention to detail is unmatched.

Too often we (i.e. the aftermarket) are too quick to pull all the OEM components off and replace it with larger blowers, etc. This was not the case when building this CTS-V. We have opted to retain ALL OEM internals, and utilize the OEM Eaton 1900 Blower to its maximum potential. The D3 Battle Wagon a 700HP CTS-V Station Wagon
We fell in love with this wagon the first time is set tires in our workshop. On top of it being a wagon, it's a 6 speed manual trans! In the D3 Battle Wagon, even trips to the grocery store are all the more fun with 715 HP and 725 ft-lb's of Torque! The build concept for the D3 Battle Wagon was to completely upgrade all OEM components with the most aggressive bolt on parts possible. The result is an ultra fun, track worthy station wagon! Release: Signal Hill, CA -- June 18th 2011, A 700+ Wheel horsepower CTS-V Station Wagon dubbed "The Battle Wagon" has been completed for delivery to its eagerly awaiting driver. "CTS-V wagons are a still a rarity, on top of that finding a white 6 speed manual was like trying to locate Atlantis!" Says John B. the owner of the Battle Wagon. "The second I heard that Cadillac was going to launch the CTS-V in wagon form I knew it would be my next car, I have always loved wagons, from the E39 5 series to the Audi S4 Wagon now to the Cadillac CTS-V Wagon. With less than 500 miles on the clock the wagon was booked for an appointment at the D3 Motorsport Laboratory which is D3's in house tuning center. The tuning concept of The D3 Battle Wagon is to encompass manageable amounts of horsepower, allowing for a balanced, but track worthy grocery getter. To complete the Wagon the Motorsport Laboratory has broken the build into 3 categories; Performance, Efficiency & Chassis Tuning. A wide range of Performance Tuning Equipment manufactured by D3 has been utilized to upgrade the performance characteristics of the Cadillac CTS-V's LSA power plant. The Pulley System has been upgraded via the D3 Stage 3 Performance Pulley Kit allowing for a mind numbing 17 PSI of Boost out of the factory Eaton 1.9L Blower that has been Blueprinted to D3's specifications. To feed this Boost monster the D3 Air Intake, D3 Billet Throttle Body and D3 Supercharger Lid Spacer have been installed. Exhaust work has been provided by the Kooks Long Tube Headers, Kooks X-Pipe with Race Catalytic Converts and the CORSA touring mufflers. These upgrades have yielded a raw horsepower gain of 244 wheel horse power. To keep the D3 Battle Wagon ready for action all of its cooling has been upgraded via the gamut of D3|ULTRACOOLERS. The ULTRACOOLER systems include the D3 Front Mount Heat Exchanger (Intercooler) the D3 Competition Oil Cooler, and the D3 Competition Radiator. The chassis has been dialed in via the D3 suspension suite including: The D3 Competition Lowering Springs, the D3 Competition Sway Bar Kit, D3 Chassis Bracing, D3 Stainless Steel Brake Lines and Alcon 2pc Competition Rotors.
