Truck Fest 2013: Smokey Big Rigs Burnouts & Drag Racing Revealed
( http://www.TFLtruck.com ) When you think of a Big Rig Semi...you probably
don't immediately think of drag racing...or do you? This weekend at
Bandimere Speedway just outside of Denver, Colorado hundreds of Big Rig
Semi trucks lined up on the drag strip to see which one is the kind of the
mile high drag strip and which one is the fastest mile high pickup
dragster. Can a big rig run a sub 20 second quarter mile? You bet. Can a
big rig run a sub 15 mile....no problem. Can a Big Rig run a sub 10 second
time? You'll have to watch the video to find out. In another fun and
informative TFLtruck video we see what happens when the Big Rig Semi Trucks
line up behind the Christmas Tree.

Drag Racing - Pacific Raceways 1963
Video from the Mothers Day drag races, May 12th 1963 at Pacific Raceways in
Kent, Washington. This was shot by a friend of my parents, Tex Steere, who
asked me to help convert it for him and has graciously allowed me to post
it on YouTube.
SEMA Drag Race: Hellcat vs Blasphemi vs Jeep FC vs Sonic! - 2014 SEMA Week Ep. 5
We've reached the final day of 2014 SEMA Week brought to you by 76, and
only we would dare to bring this ridiculous mix of vehicles together for a
grudge race on an unprepped airport runway. Fred Williams, Jessi Lang, Mike
Sabounchi and Mike Finnegan begged and bribed SEMA Show exhibitors to loan
them vehicles for a ¼ mile drag race and, though Finnegan and Sabounchi
failed, the group still managed to acquire a Jeep riding on tank treads, a
fresh-off-the-floor 2015 Dodge Challenger Hellcat, the infamous
Hemi-powered ’55 Chevy Bel Air from Roadkill, and a turbocharged 2013 Chevy Sonic to do battle.
The racers are as different as the cars. Finnegan lives in the world of hot
rods, Lang regularly pilots the best the OEM carmakers have to offer,
Williams spends all of his time in the dirt, and Sabounchi hops up every
compact car on the planet. Who will come out on top? Watch and find out!

5th with a new video premiering each day!

TERRY SAINTY 4.87 SECOND DRAG RACE
ON THE 28th JANUARY 2005, THE SAINTY FAMILY CREATED TOP FUEL DRAG RACING
HISTORY WHEN THEY RAN THIS AWESOME 4-SECOND PASS WITH THEIR SELF BUILT DRAG
RACER. THE UNIQUE INGREDIENT ABOUT THE SIGNIFICANCE OF THIS CAR IS THAT IT
WAS ENTIRELY BUILT IN AUSTRALIA, BY AUSTRALIANS. WITH THOUSANDS UPON
THOUSANDS OF HOURS OF LABOUR, THE UNIQUE 6000 horsepower SAINTY 3 VALVE
ENGINE WAS DEVELOPED BY THE SAINTY FAMILY IN THEIR ENGINEERING WORKSHOP IN
SYDNEY, AND NEARLY EVERY COMPONENT OF THIS VEHICLE WAS PERSONALLY HAND
BUILT. THERE HAVE BEEN SOME MONUMENTAL MOMENTS IN AUSTRALIAN DRAG RACING,
BUT FOR ME, THIS WAS ONE OF THE FINEST. A TRULY PATRIOITC TEAM TOTALLY
DEDICATED TO THEIR PASSION FOR RACING ON NITRO, THE SAINTY'S GOT ONE OF THE
BIGGEST CHEERS I HAVE EVER HEARD FROM THE VERY SUPOPORTIVE PERTH MOTORPLEX
FANS...ELAPSED TIME: 4.87 SECONDS, SPEED: 297 mph (478 kmh).
