Hammerhead 150 We test out the TJ GY6 150cc Buggy
Hammerhead 150 We test out the TJ GY6 150cc Buggy The Hammerhead is one of the best brands on the market. Its body is different and has a few different features than the Kinroad or Carter Karts, but they use the same engine as the Hammerhead. The GY6 150 is commonly known as the Off Road 150 engine of choice especially in the most popular brands such as Kinroad and Hammerhead. MRP has all the upgrades for the GY6 150cc karts sold by Pep Boys, Sam's Club, BJ's, and your local dealer from Kinroad, Dazon, Carter, Tank you name we got it. Buy the parts racers use, buy MRP! http://www.mrp-speed.com

Mini Buggy Build - Squaw Peak Road
We head out to National Forest Land and hit the Squaw Peak Road. Its a 20 mile stretch winding through the Wasatch mountain cascade. The weather was excellent and the new engine - '95 Honda VFR750 - performed flawlessly. Near the top of the mountain, we ran out of gas but were able to coast all the way to the trailer. It was pretty fun. We need to finish the dash, put on bodywork and paint, and the buggy will be complete!

Street Legal RZR XP Side-by-Side; Part 1: Legal Requirements to meet the Dune Buggy Laws
Street Legal RZR XP Side-by-Side; Part 1: Legal Requirements to meet the Dune Buggy Laws. Click SHOW MORE for part numbers. I mounted my turn signal/park lamps in the factory postions where I noticed that Polaris mounts them from the factory on models sent overseas where they are street legal right from the start and used an identical lights to keep a factory appearance. The part number for the control head is Peterson Model #500, the LED Flasher under the dash is NAPA part number EL11L1, the High Intensity 3/4" LED lights are Peterson part number V171R for the Red ones, V171A for the Amber ones, and unmentioned in the video I added a couple of V171C clear ones under my dash for interior lights and put one inside my glove box so I'd have a light in there. The part number for the Polaris tail lamps with the clear Backup/Work lights is Polaris part number 2410428 (you will need two, one for each side) and they work in all models of RZR's, Rangers, and Polaris ATV's built after 2008. I don't remember the part number of the Polaris harness that makes them work but just ask your dealer for the "work light harness", I also have a switch on the dash so I can turn them on manually if I need work lights. The horn is a $9.99 Wolo brand from the local auto parts store, the switch on my dash that I turn the park lamps on/off with is a simple black rocker switch and the horn button is a simple black push button momentary contact switch. Buying it and doing yourself cost noticably less than the cheapest aftermarket kits on the market (and all of the ones I have seen fail to have the side lights or backup lights) and almost 75% less than the factory street legal kit from Polaris from an overseas factory street legal model. Note that I mispoke at time index 10:09 - The minimum wheel diameter requirement for legal road use in the US is 13", not 14". The point was simply that the stock 12" wheels on some models may not be legal for use when licensed as a dune buggy but aftermarket 14" wheels will be.
