1959 C1 Corvette Barn Car Unveiled
More of our story on www.vette59.com!
Katharine and her dad "uncover" their Corvette after 25 years of storage in
the barn. This is the first step in getting the car back on the road. The
'vette was purchased by Barry in 1970 from the original owner, and went
into retirement when kids came along. The two are putting her back in
road-ready condition, no NCRS untouchable flatbed riders here.

Barn find 1970 Charger r/t 440 ALL ORIGINAL CAR
All original car purchased from 2nd owner. The car was purchased new by two
brothers from REEDS KS. The 2nd owner drove by little old motel on his way
to college and would see this car parked out by side of motel. He decided
to stop one day and asked the front desk lady who owned car. She told him
guy in room 112. He went and knocked on door and found the owner. The owner
and the college student talked about the purchased price and after a couple
beers and a mini cigarette(WINK WINK) the deal was sealed for $700!!!(back
in 1976) The 2nd owner drove car very little and stored it after he
purchased an old Chevy truck. I went to church with the 2nd owner and had
bugged him for years to buy it. Well the deal was struck in 2005 and he
also drove very little. The car is a factory power steering,ac,and power
brake car. I found a build sheet under front seat that matches the trim and
door sticker. Car is really in unbelievable shape for a charger.

At first glance, this car looks like an armored limousine, with inch-thick
glass and carefully-drilled gun ports. On closer examination, however, it
gets more and more curious.
The Cadillac build records call it "Fltwd Limo," body style 6275, number
356, and indicate it was ordered by the Chicago branch on February 21,
1935. Painted Thessalon Green, it had black leather in the front
compartment and Wiese brown vogue weave broadcloth in the rear. Fitted with
six wire wheels, two of them in fender wells, it had a radio in the rear
compartment and a flexible steering wheel. There is a further notation
about "Special Fleetwood Body Order 310," the details of which are lost to
The online Cadillac Data Base, a meticulous compilation by historian Yann
Saunders, gives production figures for Style 6275 as nine in 1934 and just
seven in 1935, exclusive of those given suffixes as sedans, formal
limousines or limousines with increased headroom. The bodies were the same
as the flat-windshield limousine Style 6075, whose Fisher body tags they
