Budget V8 street Commodore
Al’s Holden VZ Commodore is a great example of a budget LS build. Not lavish in any one area it shows you can piece together a quick street V8 without a huge outlay. 10-second LS1 Street Commodore built in 2 weeks
Mark Sass has transformed this once V6 nugget VX Holden Commodore into a tough 10-second street car in a mere two weeks. The 3.8L V6 was ditched in favour of a 346ci LS1 engine, with the only internal change being a Nitrous spec camshaft. Other modifications include a 200hp Nitrous system, FAST intake manifold, Holden 3.7:1 LSD rear end (still retains factory IRS) and a turbo400 3spd transmission.
