Form sections of panel using only hand tools!
Detroit Autorama attracts some of the best custom cars, classic
restorations, and hotrods in the country. The prestigious Riddler Award is
given on Sunday evening at the end of the three day event. When the show
ends, hundreds of cars want out of Cobo Hall. The result is a parade of
amazing cars driving through the streets of down town Detroit; which are
usually quite empty on a Sunday night. Rumbling V8s echo off the walls of
the down town buildings. I decided to record some of the exodus to share
with everyone here. If you see your car in the video, please let me know
and I'll tag it and link to your web page.
I love cars; especially photographing them. I shot Autorama this year for
editorial clients, but I also work with private owners and custom shops.
If you would like to see more of my work please visit www.CarOnTheWall.com
and let me know how I can photograph your special vehicle.
I am sharing a little bit of what I've learned about hammer welding. I was
taught by my dad, Larry Shoaf, and I also learned a few things from taking
one of Gene Winfield's metal shaping seminars.

1969 Firebird Project "Routy" Introduction V8TV
http://www.v8tvshow.com - Our latest project car - a 1969 Pontiac Firebird
named "Routy" - has finally entered the building. It has been patiently
waiting in storage in the frozen tundra of Wisconsin, and owner Steve
Prouty finally got a break in the weather and hauled it to the V8TV shop.
The car is in pretty good shape, we don't anticipate any major panel
replacement or real surprises, but we'll see when we get into the project.
Here's the intro video with the car, and the other "goodies" Steve
brought down from America's Dairyland.
