1975 Chevrolet Vega Drag Racing Car 2

The car has gone 9.03 @152 but i dont have video of it (but i do have the timeslip). its registered, inspected thru the mufflers on D.O.T tires. its a SMALL BLOCK CHEVY with a 200hp shot of N.O.S. (it goes 9.70s on motor) all steel but the 'glass hood (yes that Is a newspaper box for a hood scoop (it was free & it works) the video was recorded @ Beaversprings Dragway in Pa. the only reason i dont have a license plate on it (in the video) is because thats where the 'chute mounts. (& yes i cruise ALL the time)

THIS IS MY 1972 CHEVY VEGA WAGON DRAG RACE CAR. IT WILL RUN 6.50 SECONDS IN THE 1/8 MILE AT 106MPH. 355 CID EVERYTHING NEW FROM OIL PAN TO CARB. PROFESSIONALLY ASSEMBLED AT MAG DYNAMICS MACHINE SHOP IN OTTUMWA IOWA. THE ENGINE IS STUDDED AND HAS THE BEST OF EVERY PART. IT PRODUCES AROUND 600 HP. THE CAR HAS 30'UNDERDRIVEN ' PASSES. Chevy Vega engine Turbocharged
This is a schnieder cammed,ported Vega engine on 12 PSI Boost. It uses a Corvair Corsa turbo in a "draw through" design. The rubber hose you see expanding and contracting is just a radiator hose we used to fire it up. That is being replaced with hard tubing. The nasty idle is the cam..I am going to have to run it at about 1000 rmp idle. Boost comes on at 1200rpm. Any questions,just email me. I have been keeping Vega engines in vegas for years.
