BMW Z4 GT3 Racing Car Sound!
A few months ago I went to the Zandvoort race track in Holland. The FIA GT3 series was present that weekend. One of the brands there was BMW. Their Z4 GT3 car really had an astonishing sound! Enjoy!

This is my first GT300 car video. It caught my attention for the following reasons.
1. Uses a virtual character for main logo.
The character printed on the side is "Miku Hatsune",
a name of a female character originated from a "singing synthesizer software". This software can create a virtual vocal that can be added to a music, in a way you want it to sing. This character has become quite popular in Japan in the last several years, now probably more than the original software. Check out how it sings by searching its name on YouTube!
2. Gathers racing fund from individual fans.
For this team, not only companies, but also individual fans can become a sponsor. The sponsorship ranges between 3,000yen to 300,000yen (35 to 3,600USD), and sponsors will benefit a chance to visit the team pit during a race, have his name on the car, get a special team sticker, and so on.
3. The Drivers.
Among the two drivers, one is Nob Taniguchi. He was a driver of RE Amemiya RX-7 in the previous season, but due to the retirement of RX-7 (there was a chassis durability problem), he is driving this car in 2011. Taniguchi is not only a top drifter, but also a top racer in GT300.

BMW Z4 GT3
BMW also offers the BMW Z4 in motorsport, with a FIA GT3-specification car available to private teams. While the production version of the BMW Z4 has a 6-cylinder engine, the GT3 car is powered by a 4.4-litre 8-cylinder engine derived from the BMW M3, which produces approx. 515 PS (379 kW; 508 bhp). The weight of the BMW Z4 GT3 is approx. 1,190 kilograms (2,624 lb). In its first year of racing, the car proved competitive in the FIA GT3 European Championship as well as emerging victorious from the Dubai 24 Hour endurance event.

BMW M5 vs Nissan GT-R - www.autocar.co.uk
The BMW M5 and Nissan GT-R are not conventional rivals, but both have around 550bhp, cost nearly £75k and promise brutal performance. So which one wins our series of tests?
BMW SWITCH: Honey, where's my car!
Location: Our victim's house
Victim: J.
Accomplice: G., his wife.
What was switched: BMW 3 Series standard specifications to BMW 3 Series fully fitted with BMW Performance Accessories including engine tuning, Exhaust, interior and exterior enhancements.
When G. contacted us to switch her husband's beloved BMW 3 Series, we jumped at the chance. With her help, we managed to fit her house with hidden cameras and microphones to capture J.'s reaction when he stepped out of the door -- to find his BMW 3 Series gone and in its place, a completely different BMW 3 Series with fiercer looks and even fiercer performance.
Watch it now.

BMW history. 60 years of safety.
Safety has always been an important topic at BMW. In the last 60 years, BMW continuously raised the bar: from the first crash-tests until the sophisticated security system in present BMW cars.
Leo Parente Drives A SimRaceway Formula 3 Race Car - /SHAKEDOWN
Leo Parente is at Sears Point / Infineon Raceway and the SimRaceway Performance Driving Center, testing their SRW-F3 racecar. Built by Lola with a full carbon tub, riding on racing slicks, powered by a modded Mitsubishi EVO turbo. 300 hp, 370 lb ft of torque, 1030 lbs light, the power-to-weight ratio of a Bugatti Veyron, 3G cornering, with 'wings and things' generating 1500lb of downforce, the SRW-F3 will be quick. Race car tech and lightness vs raw horsepower will make this test drive a real flyer. Plus, the test allows ShakeDown to explain the differences driving a street car fast vs a race car.

BMW M550d X Drive Road Test - CHRIS HARRIS ON CARS
BMW M550d X Drive road test.
It has more torque than the space shuttle and BMW claims it will do over 40mpg. BMW also says it won't be selling the car in the UK or the US, the places that DRIVE is most commonly viewed. But when something has 3 turbos, you've got to go drive it at 155mph: no?
