BMW 330ci 0-60 test (sport shift) The BMW 330ci: The BMW E46 330 ci was the highest end 3 series you could buy (that wasnt a M car). On our second go around with the 330ci Covertible 0-60 test, we had the great idea to test the 0-60 with the top down. What happened you ask?! Before I say anything, I (as well as everyone else) am very aware of the BMW 155 mph limiter. In the United States, The 2003 330ci was limited to 135 mph...promise. This was one of our more interesting videos that 1) was not edited well since it was made when we were just starting out 2) lost a lot of its popularity over time. For everyone who is about to leave a comment saying that a stock Escalade can make a 0-60 time under 7 seconds...just show me the proof. There are several claims that the Escalade ESV can reach 60 in 7 seconds, but we couldnt get this ESV to do that. Engine: 6.2 L Vortec 6200 V8 Hrsepower: 403 @ 5700 Torque: 417 @ 4400 Transmission: 6-speed automatic Curb weight: 5,761 lb Class: Premium Large Sport-utility Vehicle In 1998 Ford launched the Lincoln Navigator into the automotive market. GM quickly devised a response to the Navigator and in 1999 GM introduced the first generation of the Escalade. The original Escalade was launched with the 5.7 L Vortec 5700 V8 at 255 hp engine and Autotrac selectable 4x4. Over the years the Escalade became infamous for having almost identical designs as the Chevrolet Tahoe, GMC Yukon and Yukon Denali. GM did not produce a 2001 Escalade but instead redesigned the SUV for the 2002 model year. In 2004 the Escalade received many different changes to the luxury of the vehicle including optional 20 inch rims, XM satellite radio, second-row bucket seats, and a tire pressure monitoring system. In 2005 a Platinum edition of the Escalade was introduced. The Platinum edition featured heated and cooled cup holders, 20 inch chrome wheels, moon roof, three DVD screens, and chrome accents on the steering wheel and grille. In 2007 the Escalade underwent another remodeling. The 2007 Escalade's engine is an all-aluminum 6.2 L Vortec V8. This pushrod engine includes variable valve timing, a first in a mass-produced non-overhead cam engine. The engine produces 403 hp (23 hp more than the GMC Yukon Denali) and 417 lbs of torque. The Escalade comes with a six-speed 6L80 automatic transmission.

I was very fortunate to get a video of this legend in action. Keep in mind this car was never made for acceleration. The E30 M3 is all about handling with it's perfect weight distribution and very clever chassis. The E30 M3: The E30 M3 was introduced during the 1986 model year. This first M3 came with a 2.3 L I4 S14B23 engine. Parts came from the 2002 series, 320 series, and the M1. The E30 M3 was born into a world of racing competing in rally events as well as German, British, Italian, Belgian, French, and Australian touring races. It was initially designed to contend with Mercedes' 2.3-16V W201 190E. The E30 M3 was reported to reach a top speed of 143 mph with a 0-60 time of around 7 seconds. The original M3 quickly became a legend. It held wins in the World Touring Car Championship, the European Touring Car Championship, the British Touring Car Championship, the Italia Superturismo Championship, the Deutsche Tourenwagen Meisterschaft, the Australian Touring Car Championship, the Guia Race, the 24 Hours Nürburgring, the Spa 24 Hours, and the World Rally Championship. Between these events, the E30 M3 held 27 wins. Production of the E30 M3 ended in early 1992. The original M3 still receives praises for its engineering feats. In 2004, Sports Car International named the E30 M3 car number six on the list of Top Sports Cars of the 80's. This video was taken after my protune wheel hp 295 and 309 lbs torque : ) I actually accelerate to about 75mph before letting off the gas ! I also launched at only 3500rpm.
