STI TMIC Install in a 06 WRX

2010 Subaru STi Kartboy shifter bushings install
Installed the Kartboy front and rear shifter bushings on my 2010 STi and made a little video, hope this helps anyone thinking of doing this. Love the precise feel of the shifts, definitely an increased "whine" coming from the polyurethane bushings (not too bothersome), really only noticeable in 1st-3rd gear and who drives that slow anyway.

WRX STi Intercooler Boost leak from BYpass valve gasket subaru. Out testing Boost with the Cobb Accessport subaru STi stage 1 off the shelf tune for stock vehicles with stock or Cobb SF intake. The 2004 to 2007 WRX STi do not require a tune with the Cobb SF intake due to the exact match of the mass air meter housing. 2008 and up require a tune for any intake change. I had a small leak from my bypass valve gasket.

How to Rebuild a Turbo - Part 1 of 2
Rebuilding a td05h 16g turbo. This process can be applied to many journal bearing turbochargers. :) It definitely comes in handy to know how to do this when you are in this type of hobby. 4/25/12: Small explanation on the balancing of the rotating assembly since I get so many comments regarding it. This particular turbocharger, td05h, has its rotating assembly components balanced separately. This means each individual part (compressor wheel, turbine wheel/shaft) gets balanced separately. This allows for easy interchangeability of parts in case they need replacing. This is why I am able to install a td05 20g wheel on this turbo without having to balance the entire rotating assembly. THIS IS NOT THE CASE FOR ALL turboS OUT THERE. You need to research whether your specific turbo (if it's not td05h) was balanced as an assembly or "component balanced" like I explained above.
